Things that "disappear" when an IDOC falls...

Over in the Houses forum in the "IDOC Faq" sticky there, it says:

all of the add-ons in that house (ovens, looms, forges, etc) will disappear

Does this include things like Ankh's, Lava tiles, Tombstones, etc..? Or is there a list somewhere that lists what "disappears" at IDOC fall? I've done a couple, but it's been 10 years and just don't remember what people said back then about what disappears...

OK here is a good idea of what **POOFS**

If it was placed with a deed ie: forges anvils stoves etc..
Rewards that are placed from a deed, gift items in deedform, if you can unlock it and move it its not gunna poof.

Now there are items that mimic rewards these dont poof... lava tiles, tombstones and alot of artie items do not poof.

If the items are still in deed form they do not disappear. Deeds are ok.

Ohh my...that brought back memories!!!

I haven't even been playing THAT long but my first guild on Napa I had to *touch the stone*....wow....now I'm nostalgic....yeah I hate seeing old guild stones go...that was a very cool system.

Idoc Question

One of the several Idocs I have found has a house teleporter tile in it. The other one is located in a house where the house is not Idoc What will happen to the teleporter once the house falls?

It should just fall to the ground because they are not deeded.Then it can be relinked to a different teleporter if you can find another one.The one in the other house will unlink.

I dont think it unlinks from the other automatically. My brother had one to a friends house that he lost touch with. Thought she wasn't playing but he would go check her house once in a while via teleporter. She redid her house so he thought maybe she was back, till one day he teleported into a guild meeting of the people who idoc'd it and placed a house there. They were nice enough to sell it back to him.

You can link and unlink them, kinda like the old brackets of binding

Just making sure, is there any way to get the deeded placed items that don't go poof? Like parrots on perch etc, I heard u can axe them but then u're not in a house to do that, so wondering if it works?

at one time u could plot over banners and stuff to get them to re deed in ur back pack.....not sure if this works now cause if u plot over stuff now instead of movine it under the house sign it just poofs it

Yes the banners and birds go poof, even if you put a house on top of it. Dev did that to help stop the calls to the GM Que for removal/redeeding.

Stone tables go poof, fountains of life, if you cant pick it up and move it(after unlocking it) it goes poof 99% of the time... there are a few bugs that leave all or parts of items.

Oh and static dressers and chests go poof too, if it was placed with a deed it and all its contents go poof.

Oh and for sake of memory remember house placement after the fall can take from a few minutes to hours..... thats if anyone is placeing that is....

Oh yeah, just remembered to ask, what about house owner or rented vendors? Do they go poof too after the collapse or do they bag themselves up like when u terminate them n drop on floor like I think they used to?
