just spent an hour in shame killin choas vortex and d-blood-ellies and I have 2200 luck ,worse loot so far since shame came out and i mean the weight of stuff was bad,5 rpd and like 30 luck on stuff 2 dci ,really cmon man!
how did you manage to get to 3000 luck?Yeah unfortunately I have to agree with this. Shame loot seems to have received a downgrade in quality. 3000k+ luck on eternal gazers and loot seemed like what I was getting off of earth ele's before.

I haven't been down to Shame in a while and I've not been into Wrong at all yet so I dunno. Maybe they messed it up in the wrong direction.And no EZ I was just farming eternal gazers yesterday, definitely a major drop in loot quality. I agree maybe dropping it some was required but it does seem like a drastic amount.

Wrong seems to have drawbacks from Shame, however Wrong excels in the puzzle aspect of the game. It also features the first time within the dungeon re-vamping that a stealable artifact is available. From what I've seen of the torture rack stealable I'd say the Dev's did a great job. Also the puzzle room was a nice touch as well.Yea - my wife says since the patch, the loot in 4th level Shame is now pretty much 1st level stuff. Something broke there.
She is also not impressed with what was done in Wrong. Hardly any thing worth fighting there. So much for improving the dungeons and bring people back into them.
Yeah I think the luck thing is right, I have tried it with several different levels of luck and it does seem more relevant. Unfortunately it seems to get high end items you would have to have 5000 luck if its possible.If I recall, they were suppose to make luck more relevant when it comes to quality of loot with the publish. My best guess is that someone screwed up the math somewhere or it might just be the standard UO Dev's approach of dangling a huge carrot at release of something new to get positive feedback and then nerf the S%!t out of it the next publish (pretty standard pattern if you look at past examples).

I've done tests with the similar results as well. tram loot is almost impossible to get Lesser Artifact quality items and up. (I've farmed about 10 UEV's in 1890 Luck in both tram & fel.) and not a single item above "Greater magic item" in tram, nothing above "Greater Artifact" in fel.I've been collecting Level 4 Shame loot the last week to analyze it further. Here are my observations:
1) Loot is generally lower quality; there are far fewer artifact quality items
2) There appears to be no noticable change in skill groupings. DI and SDI remain linked.
3) The amount of items from level 4, though lesser in quality, yield more relic frags upon imbue. I've noticed almost a doubled rate of return for relics.
I like the increase in relics but I would like the chance to get Legendary and Greater artifacts again. They are very few and far between.

I have noticed that I am getting jewelry with SSI not automatically linked to FC and FCR. It's bittersweet though since the loot overall has dropped in quality. I hope they unlink DI and SDI but the devs haven't indicated that they will. This needs to be done before any more dungeons are rolled out with the new loot generator. Also, treasure maps and instruments are few and far between.
