^ this, Thank you petra
and i fully agree with this, the npc vet should not replace a player veterinarian but be an alternative in case a player cannot be found.
Get your pet killed in a shards off-hours and try to find an at-the-keyboard pet rezzer. You may see a couple sitting in Luna off and on, but likely there will be no response. Just make the pet rezzer not be a cause of a boring long wait by having it just rezz the pet when asked.
EA needs to consider that making players wait out stupid timeouts bores them and at some point they go find something else to do besides being bored waiting. This could lead to monthly fees going elsewhere that doesn't inflict boring waits on their players.
Deliberate annoyances like this do pile up on a player's opinion of a game, eventually burying it, and the player stops playing.
It's certainly got me wavering on playing UO. Took a lot to overwhelm UO's sandbox fun factor, but after High Seas bull, I'm wavering back and forth on it. Accounts are paid through the summer, and like each rebilling point, the question arises, "Do I really find the game that fun?"
