I have been feeding them cake all evening and tying up those willing to be tied. Respected is all I get. Any tips as how to be adored? Hmmm?

I went from Respected to Adored last night (seemed to skip the levels in between for some reason unless I'm reading the list provided wrong). Basically, I take about 30k gold with me and spend about 20-30 minutes at a run giving gold, arresting, putting out fires and cleaning up trash (have yet to see Raiders in Minoc on LS, maybe a timing issue?).

Took a bit, but it did happen. I just added it into the daily routine a little bit each day.

Thanks Dermott. How much gold per drop? These Siege beggars do not seem to realize the value of gold. They seem to like cake. They are not fond of wine. *shrugs*

You can drop the whole stack and they take 1000 gold and you get the rest back (1000 gold per protestor). This may be different on Siege though... not 100% certain.

1000 does the trick. Thanks for setting me on the right course. I intend to try to hit both extremes. *smiles*

*thumps self in the forehead* Ya would have thought I would have figured the 1000 thing out with all the "A thousand thanks for your gift" messages. I am dumb.

Doh!

I just drop fishsteaks on them. Seems to make them happy.

I just put out fires, pick up trash and throw em in the lock-up.

And they adore me....

Then next day I do it all over again.

And no, I'm not talking about moderating! lol

Just keep on doin it... rinse/repeat... and plan on doing it every day for the next several months if you plan on keeping your "adored" status...

Just keep at it....remember you're fighting significant decay so if you're just logging on and working it 20-30 minutes a day then it's gonna take awhile but you will eventually get there.

For me it was depressing doing just a bit a day and never seeing my title change from Adored. So I finally bit the bullet and spent about 8 hours solid just gathering rioters, putting out fires, giving out fish steaks, etc and got to venerated. Now it's just a matter of keeping the title which takes about 15 minutes a day. It's becoming more tolerable as I've just made it part of my daily routine like collecting/sorting BODs.

But people who are trying to get/keep loyalty on all their characters - yuck. Can't imagine anything more boring or time consuming. Pick one character and work one town and then it's not such a horrible task.

Oh, and just a word, I never give the protestors gold and I still got to venerated - finally a use for all those fish steaks I've collected over the years.

Do this. There is no reason to waste *any* resources on them. Just get your rope and start arresting rioters. It seems that the more you arrest, the more rioters will pop up. By the end of it, you'll be running around like crazy.

Once you hit the highest level (Venerated) try to arrest at least a few more. Then, once every other day (or once every 3 days), grab 1 rope and arrest until it goes poof. If you do that, you'll stay venerated. That's what Adrianas has done. I haven't tried as hard with my alt, Camriel - so he is still just adored.

Note that there is a long lag between adored and venerated - don't let that discourage you.

And if you need to, just do 1 rope/day for a few days - that'll still take you to venerated within a week and wasting one hour/day on it isn't too bad. If you try to keep going until you hit venerated, you'll get too tired of it.

Kelmo, all it takes to calm them is 25 cooked fish steaks. No need to waste gold if you have access to fish. I've been working three of my characters and finally got the third to venerated. It takes time, but it seems that once you reach that point, all you need to do is make sure you do "one rope's worth" of arresting each day to maintain it. At least, that has been my experience so far.

Since they said pick one city, and one city Only... If that's done and you participate in all those activities, typically you move towards the 'favored' side. But for the adventurous, what if you picked a sister city to work solely in the 'opposite' direction? Wonder if it matters? Or if there's some later advantage to be gained? At least the grind is mostly removed in that direction, and it gives more event play time.

Related, I question about Meer loyalty, and if that needs to be worked now, or not, in preparation for this fall when Ilsh is opened back up, since some one, or some thing, has obviously returned. I always hated the Juka anyways

Well be careful which angry rioters ye are arresting sir. :)

Some few Siege players, beggin for justice, and equality,
soon may be joining them angry rioters ranks, ya know,
& normally nice folks hath suddenly been seen also settin fires
and torching the landscarpe, and all that stuff,
till our Sherry the Mouses work right,
the town criers work right, and some red raiders appear,
or till we get some kinda 14 yr. vet rewards, 'to claim'.

So be ye watchful, there is much unrest upon the lands of Siege !
And handin em a few fish steaks, will not cut it at all !
