Same thing happened on LS, we had 3 major buyers for 1 plot, none of us won. Instead I won a plot in fel....I didnt buy any tickets there!

scripters walkin off every shard same name, same characters, even trial accounts which EA mixed. We paged and paged you could follow them from stone to stone, everyone dressed the same whole nine yards. total BS.
screwed non cheaters out of luna, and i get screwed out of new mag too.
there were 1.1 million tickets sold on my plot of SE-1
i owned 956k of the tickets.

That does not necessarily mean that a scripter won the plot.
There is absolutely no proof that any scripter won anything. Please stop the witch hunt until there is proof. The RNG is notoriously fickle and far more likely to be responsible for anyone's failure to win.
Something doesn't feel right with this lottery. The odds of me having not won at least 1 plot on Chesapeake are almost inconceivably low, yet I still didn't win any. I was 1 in 1.5 for 1 plot and just slightly lower for several others. It is possible that I just had really, really bad luck, but seeing people report losing a plot with 1 to 1.1 odds really makes me question this.
I had a chance to lose, sure, but statistics say that based on all the different plots I bid on, my chances of winning at least one were close to or above 90%. Like I said, maybe I just had really bad luck, but I don't dismiss the possibility that something wasn't on the up and up with the drawing.

This, and nothing but this. If you didn't own 100% of the tickets, ie 1000 out of 1000 not 956k outa 1.1 mil you had a chance to lose. Stop crying and move on.
I can't help wondering how many timid little crafters will be scared to claim their prize for fear of being accused of scripting.
I don't think people that timid play UO.... for long.

I would be fine with just losing if actually made sense. I only bid on tram plots and won a fel plot. I dont get it.
It is only 86% chance, thats hardly a win. I bought tickets on 5 shards for every house and won nothing...I thought I stood a remote chance but it was just as good as this was....I didn't win 6 on Baja though???

On Sonoma trammel, I bid a lot of money on all the south lots. Enought so, that I had anywhere between a 1 in 10 to a 1 in 4 chance to win on every south lot.
What happened?
I won 2 north plots instead. C-1, and N-2. Both with about a 1 in 190 chance to win.

Northern, thats why 1 ticket per plot. When I bought my tickets, each plot had 450 to 600 tickets sold.

I put down 60M on one plot and had a 1 in 2 chance of winning. Which I thought were good odds....it was the plot I really wanted. But, just in case, I also put something down on multiple other plots to give myself a good chance of winning at least something. I also had a 1:6, 1:10, 1:18, 1:18, 1:40, 1:50.
I ended up winning the 1:6 plot. My point is, it doesn't matter the odds. You can't let it come down to one roll.

There is already a vendor house up on Pac. And about 8 other plots with homes on them.
I said I wasn't going to even try, but just for shiggles, I bought one ticket, as far as I can tell, I haven't won.....hell, I don't even know how to tell if I won.
But, what does it matter? I find it extremely pathetic for anyone to even try and use their time and script, especially over a game. It's a loser's life and seriously......seriously nothing to brag about.

Help me understand how "scripting" has anything at all to do with winning a Mag plot? To win - you buy lots of tickets. You could do that the 1st minute the lotto started, or you could do that the last minute of the lotto. What has "scripting" to do with that?

What are the odds that person 1) actually did buy a ticket and forgot/didn't know, 2) has another person with access to their account, 3) is lying. You want to revert based on that one post?

Because the winners will be furious. Forget the 1 in 1.1. With 1.1 mil tickets sold, that isn't as great as it seems. Divide your tickets owned by the total, and you'll get your percentage chance. I think someone did it for you, and if it was exactly 1.1mil total, which I'm sure it wasn't, then it came out to an 86% chance to win. I had 82500 of I think around 105000 tickets. I figured it out before server down, and I had a 78% chance, so those 1 in 1.3 odds I had could still lose.
I spoke with the scripter. He was on necro newb chars on Atlantic. I got mad when I realized what he was doing, so I blocked him in. He almost instantly started talking. I accused him of somehow having a script that made new accounts and spent the 1000 gold on each. Then he shut me up by saying each ticket costs 2000. He claimed he was giving all of his accounts 1mil each to buy up plots on a few servers.
Sure, he was cheating with the route he was running, but the 2000 gold price ensures brand new chars cannot buy instantly. Plus, if any GMs did check him out due to complaints, he probably answered them as quick as he did me. If he isn't afk, they can't really do anything.
I feel for those who had a lot invested and lost. I had 165mil, and my stomach was turning when I logged on, I can't imagine having over a bil invested. The guy who randomly got a plot in fel instead of tram most likely visited fel, bought a ticket, and forgot.
But, as bad as you feel, there is no way they will redraw.

Until you guys see who is selling plots or placing plots on ones you didnt win, i wouldnt just assume a scripter won them.
Also, placing is tricky.. I've been saying that in posts since the Origin lotto ended. Have to be perfect... if it still wont let you, make sure theres no debris in the way... after that, then page a GM.

I went nuts on LS, lowered a few of my odds down to 1 in 4. didn't even win a fel plot =(
I won a random tram Nothern plot on europa and two side by side tram plots on sonoma though lol (one in fel on sonoma also)
