This goes along with the hub house thread I made. For those who don't know every Spring through Fall my time in game gets very limited to non existent. In past years I have just dropped the bulk of my Siege houses to free up the spots for anyone that might want to place in those spots. With the coming of the second house on Siege I came back to find dirt plots in many of the places where I would place a house and dirt plots they have remained since that time. So this year I have decided to not drop the houses but make them available for anyone that wants to use them for training, gold farming or resource farming.
Someone last night said I should post a guide to the houses here on Stratics so here is the basic house guide of what each house is good for.
#1. (-=G=- The Ant Pad) is North of Vesper on the very edge of the above ground Solen area. Solen are very good for training up weapon skills and tactics up to 90s and drop ZOOGIE Fungus, Gems, and a decent bit of gold. Mages, mystics and necros can bring them to the porch and wipe out the 7 for the Solen Queen Translocation Powder Quest in about 10 seconds, loot them in relative peace and fill their water pitcher from the house trough before stepping onto the Tele Tile to the "A Hole" house. This house if also a very low level bard training house as you can drag a large audience to the porch for your concert.
#2 (-=104=- The A Hole House) Is located right next to a Solen Hive Entrance hole. The worker ants are great training for lower level characters combat skills and will get you into the 70s pretty fast to get on the ROT. This hole has Blue beetles close by, one of the nest for the Seed quest, and the hole and woods are a great place to mine and lumberjack.
#3. (-=100=- The Wolf Pad) This is hands down my most dangerous house. It has very heavy spawn of Ninjas, Tsuki Wolves and Reapers. Mostly Tsuki Wolves as it is in the Heart of the Tsuki Garden. There are perm placed healers close to the house, a shrine with a ankh to the east and ankh of sacrifice on the porch. THIS IS NOT A HOUSE FOR LOW LEVEL CHARACTERS. There is a soul forge above the sw corner of the porch, this is important because the Wolves, Kazee kimono things, and Ninjas drop a lot of Greaters and Majors to unravel making this the perfect Imbue training house, I have taken 5 toons to 120 imbue from the porch of this house, this is also where I finish up training combat skills to 120. For Gold farming a Disco Mystic dropping RCs are great as are disco Tamers. A GD chews through the wolves fast and a RC can kill 5-7 discoed wolves before having to cast another one. A warrior type needs a Demon Slayer weapon and can farm them fairly quick as well. The Wolves drop 850-1200 gold each, a lot of junk unravel loot, a decent amount of usuable Majors and peculiar seeds, the most useful seed being the Flax seed that makes cotton balls. The sleeping Dragon Champ Spawn is a bit to the west where spined hides can be farmed from the initial spawn. To the North West is Yamadon Point where there is a Yamadon and 2 Rune Beetles. For the sea faring types to the North is the sea and a area full of Dread Pirates and Merch ships. If you want to earn gold fast on Siege and cast RC the Wolf Pad is about the best place.
#4 (-=11=- Pigeon Chit Heights) is in the Wind Maze Mining around the house, ants in the Maze and the City of Wind to the West. Wind (Below in the City) is where I tame greater dragons, farm daemons, mine salt peter in the GZ and farm the liches for necro regs.
#5 (-=13=- Far South House) LOL the former home of Herman Tooth Rot
Lots of Fishing, a short boat ride away from all of the Southern Islands and a Healthy Pirate population to the South and South West.
#6,#7,#8, #9, #10, #11 Port Tyr Ocrina ISland AKA Port Tyr -=T=- -=01=- -=6=- -=12=- -=1968=- -=102=- This is just my hideout and where I park my ships, LJ, and Fish. Marble Island and Horseshoe island are to the SW and West.
#12 -=YB=- ZOOG Moonglow Office) is where my GZ vendors are when I put them up. Right next to the sea and the Cotton field is right there for cotton picking and vorpal bunny hunting.
#13 (-=99=- HavenHome) Moved from Malas to Ocllo as requested.
#14 (-=101=-) Ter mur Mining and LJ right off the porch, and close to BO
#15 (-=001=- Orc Mine) Mining, Salt Peter, mid level combat training, lumber jacking.
#16 (-=10=- The Garden House) Nothing spec about this one other than its where my raised beds are.
#17 (-=14=- The Zento hub house)
I am going to move 3 of the Island houses to farming and training locations next week and will update this with thread with where. Someone also asked if I would add a small rune library to the -=14=- Hub House with cities, Dungeons, and good locations......... I will work on that but it will be a while before I can get it done. In the mean time enjoy the houses and the training and farming available at them.
