Its a round metal shield with the virtue symbol on it which gives a "bonus" to virtue points gained while holding it.

It originally was in the EJ package as well as 1 mil gold. Both were pulled out.
But why should that be necessary? The bonus shouldn't be secret when you expect people to buy it for 15 bucks. It should atleast tell you what kind of % increase you would be getting for your money.
So anyone whose tested it on TC, can you share how effective it is for your money?
Test shard is a waste of time for the majority, unless we want to test something for ourselves.
As has been shown many...many times the Devs don't listen to what the majority of us tell them on Test when they want stuff tested.
Only a certain select few.
They shove it out how they want too anyway, but i'm damb sure if they said on Test they were gonna charge $15 for it we would have ALL laughed hard...

It's all a money grab peeps...In case yall havent noticed, things are going downhill and BS is grabbing cash wherever they can however they can.
At best its slightly better than the Anniversary token items. Most of those things are 100 Sovereign. Vanity mounts and Charger of the Fallen are 1000 Sovereign. Its not as valuable as a mount. 500 Sovereign I might consider it. For $15 I'd be better off going to a third party site to spend my money!
When you equip it, it places a buff on you. When i checked the buff a few weeks ago on TC, it was like a +20% Virtue gain buff.

Wow, a whole 20% !!!....big ole freakin eye roll That's the average price break given to consumers after the usual 30% increase before the doors open.

It shows up for me...is your buff bar showing? I toggle mine off and on....I'm on TC right now and it's showing for me in the CC

Okay so...I never tested this when it was on TC because I wanted to wait until it was available in the store....now I will have to wait some more until I can afford it :/
BUT I am testing the gains now to see if it's worth it.
Started off with 1 dot in Compassion level 2:
First Escort Quest gave me 1 dot
Second Escort Quest gave me nothing
Third Escort Quest gave me nothing
Fourth Escort Quest gave me 1 dot
Fifth Escort Quest gave me nothing
So ended up with 3 dots, gained 2 with 5 Escort Quests on Seeker of Compassion
Back on Origin I did the same.
First Quest - 1 dot
Second Quest - nothing
Third Quest - nothing
Fourth Quest - 1 dot
Fifth Quest - nothing
So....for at least this one test the results are exactly the same with or without the shield.....:/

If they had upped the dci to like 15, and added reactivate paralyze, and added in some EP, it would be a bestseller amoung PVP'ers but as usually the DEVs think with their arses as usual.

I guess it could be usefull for a collector who can lock it down in hes house and use it as a doormat.

Well, to be fair, it really wasn't designed to be PvPed with (no, don't mention the mess that is Justice). It's designed to be held when raising the Virtues for a bit of a boost. For those that care about that, it's serviceable enough (though yes, it could be better even for PvE).
But for the ludicrous price, it should be hephaestus-like.

I think you may need to look into the Highest path virtue buffs again, some of them are quite usefull
i always wanted to full them up, therefore i bought one lol.

I like the shield. Not for 15 bucks though. I have shields nicer than that. The only virtue I use is for self res and I stay up on it. I guess there's a virtue that gives a discount? As I recall I didn't have the patience for that
They seem to be inching towards pay to win which kinda sucks. But if it keeps the lights on I don't really care much.
Overpriced.
It used to be that the Honesty items would show up regularly on the north coasts of islands, but then the Dev team "fixed" it to be somewhat more random.

If you actually find the person it belongs too, you gain more Honesty..if you don't want to go through all that hassle, turning the items in to lost and found at any fel bank will give you a slight boost in honesty
