Siege Crystal Porter Ver. 6.0

The Siege Crystal Porter is a helper program I wrote that allows you to use the Crystal Portal and Corrupted Crystal Portal veteran rewards without having to remember or look up the spellings of the locations (see picture below). It is a small Visual Basic Program that only sends text and an enter to the client. It does not interact with the data stream in any way.

Although this program is not an official UO program it is doubtful that anyone at EA will care.

The program is small (less than 40k) and should take little to no machine resources. I keep it minimized as i play until i need it and then alt tab to bring it up. When you start the program a form will appear that is simple and straight forward.

This is now the first non-beta release - version (6.0) for Siege Only - I have tested it on several windows operating systems with no problems. (vista and windows 7 and windows 8 will probably require that you run it as an administrator).

It should only require net framework 2 to run, so if you can run UO Cartographer you should have no problems running this version of the Siege Crystal Porter.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

This program is copyright, but freeware. It may not be posted on other web sites without my permission.

No I did not do that one (but I did program my own - I'll post it tomorrow when I get a chance)
I also wrote SeaPilot for the classic client

SeaPilot


This is a simple boat tool for I wrote for the Classic Client.

If you can run UOCartographer you should have no problems running SeaPilot,

The program only sends text to the client so the UO people should not be concerned.

Please report back any problems.

If you are running Windows 7 or 8 you must run it as administrator

The moongate do not know that, the command Fel Vesper Moongate works fine to get there

Is EA cool with tools these days?

Not that they could ever stop them, but their hardline stance drove more than a few people to install the macroing programs when all they wanted was a simple tool such as the above.

I can not speak for EA but my simple programs only send text to the screen and an enter similar to many of the other programs on stratics.

Also the modified EC has some of my ideas built in so I assume no one could ever complain.

I understand what your programs do and don't do, and I fully support the spirit behind them.

Sending commands to the UO client has always been forbidden though. I'd had a few program ideas in the past that never went anywhere due to that policy. If there's truly nobody left at EA that cares, awesome, but I'd be worried about them suddenly starting to care again at some point.

Thanks, I travel across multi shards using public portals in Luna and such, and this will be handy with them.

I don't know if this version still works since it is old. I originally wrote it to work with the enhanced client but when pinco included it in his UI, I gave up since it was not needed. But maybe some people do not use his UI so let me know if it still works and i'll try to update (at least the Siege version)

So what is the difference between your SeaPilot and UORudder UOSS UORudder Boat Utilty for Ulitma Online or your House Tool and UOHomeOwner UOSS UOHomeOwner

probably very little - I coded mine (seapilot and house tool) to stay on top and to be more easy to see and use. But the old programs still work well as far as I know.

Remember I originally wrote them for the EC as well.
