[Fishing] The quantity of fish in orders

Each time you complete an order with a specific fish, the next time you get an order with that fish the quantity will increase by 5 to a max of 20.

Each time you abandon a quest with a specific fish, the next order you get with that fish will be 5 less quantity.

I still get orders -from the same types of fish/crustaceans that I've completed several times- having a quantity of 10. Does this number change from docks to docks or is it only increase rng's maximum possible toll?

order 1 for blue crab 5
next blue crab order 10
next 15
next 20
next 10
next 15
next 20


Things that can change that include cancelling a quest or having an unfilled order for that type already.

or

order 1 5
next 10 sits unfilled and you get another
next 10 then you turn in either 2nd or 3rd
next 10 or 15 depending on something unknown

Thanks for the detailed information! It doesnt mention anything about that kind of a loop in the faq, is it yet another bug like crustaceans being weighted less? Because it makes no sense whatsoever.

I see these fishmonger quests as a kind of bod system for fishers. However, this kind of a loop is not present on the current bod systems. Imagine getting bod orders with less quantity for every time you reach the maximum (coincidentally 20) or normal quality orders when you complete exceptional ones. All of a sudden, rng seems less evil, isnt it?

I've noticed that I'm not having any fun completing these quests, even when I get good orders or recieve better rewards. The only reason I still complete these quests is for getting a 120 powerscroll so that I can try to catch some of the rare fish or maybe finally be able to successfully fish in the lava (still cant catch anything in lava at elder fishing) in an effort to document these.

I truly blame myself for not testing these fishmonger quests enough on the high seas beta shard. If I could spare a few more days to see if I could get at least a 105 fishing ps, maybe I could offer some kind of a comment prior to the release of the booster back.
