Are you sure about this? That would be illogical, because I provide these suggestions exactly for the purpose that any UO developer takes them and makes the best out of it. That's the object of these suggestions. Why should I sue them for improving the game??

I did not post against them coping it, I simply stated they could please "everyone" by saying they read the thread. And they could avoid a lawsuit by not copying the bulk of your idea. My opinion on what they should do is not displayed as it does not matter, I posted in direct response to foolio's post about them worrying about a law suit. I did not think you would do it, but again...what I think about the matter is irrelevant. On a side note, Your idea is very good.

Eh, if there could be any legal ramifications, they could just always get you to sign a release form on the idea. Like they do for all the contests. "this idea has become the sole property of EA games and what-not else."

I hope they take your ideas into account, should they do a pirate edition. I would absolutely love to have a pirate character if they did the Letters of Marque (Simply because its pvp in Tram). Hrmmm...not sure how I feel about muskets given the time period UO is supposed to portray, but it does sound neat.

See the Counselor's Lawsuit against OSI -- sometimes the best of intentions turn into the craziest things.
I would never suggest that you would sue EA, only that they have policies (like many large creative companies) against acknowledging unsolicited design suggestions, especially ones as elaborate as yours. They don't make exceptions just because they think you are a good guy. BTW- I love your plans, and I would bet money that Draconi has taken a peek. But he works for EA and follows their policies.

I know you were not suggesting it...but my reply was still directly related to your post.

He quoted me saying that they could reply and just not copy most of his idea, This would settle everything. Not that they would just saying it is a feasible way. I did not mean to imply that you were saying that, if you thought I was.
