Yes, any pet can eat tasty treats, even those grass hoppers in malas that cant eat anything.

No. My Hoppy, tamed when Malas was born, ate the 12k treat, and was a happy Hoppy but did not bond. Wasted 12k on GL where I am broke at Midnight's Keep. Hoppy does talk so that is, nice. No bonding. Maybe do 7 days and try again? Idk.
