1. Do you have to talk to Avery to start the quest (and if so what do you say) or can you go straight on and get the lantern immediatly?

2. Do you get a reward for every spot?

3. Do you get different rewards from either NPCs or is it the same for both?

1. Don't have to talk to Avrey and don't have to do the spots in order.

2. Yes.

3. Dan gives new rewards, and Crag (sp??) gives the ranger of the abyss rewards it seems.
