take how long they've been a member and do the math on their # of posts to find out who is addicted to posting here.

i've already found that there are some who might need intervention as their stats come out something like this:

member: about 2,700 days
posts: about 27,100
average: about 11 times per day / 365 days a year

Besides, I did get a reprieve to just post on the OT forum after some time, so I did amass quite a few posts over there. But it's nice to know that some players still find the need to start threads about me...LOL...la

You know, I find ending every post with a "la" very annoying, but I find even more annoying anyone who cares enough to make a post about post numbers. If the Op's post was about something you said, or even that silly grin in your avatar, I might agree.

But, I am having a hard time getting past the "who cares" who has how many posts. Surely there must be something important to discuss.

Not to worry, it's usually the first thing people go after when they come after me. If it's not the "...la", it's the post count.

Personally, I'd prefer they come at me with logic or something to debate, but if that's the route they choose to follow, so be it.

I haven't done the math on mine, but I'm sure I'm up there near the top. I had a lot of free time on my hands when I was working since I was the boss and had a VERY good crew working for me. The only time I really had to do anything was if someone called in sick, some serious problem came up, or during the 2 days I put together my monthly reports for the VP. Other than that, I had nothing but time to put my feet up and post on Stratics.

Let's see... I've been posting here since about March 1998, so my REAL post count is unknowable considering I've seen this place change between three different formats and a few URLs.

I guess if you could figure out an average per day post count for me on the current board then apply it across a 10 year span you can get close.

My point is, post count is a silly way to to validate a particular individual. Read the words. Ignore the numbers.
