Here is a list of problems:
I start the game and there is no message on the launcher saying that an event on New Legacy has started. I have to scroll down to see a message. An old message. This does not build hype.
When I log into the game there is no indication as to where to go to start the event. I check in with the two NPC's who did the prologue, and they don't say anything new. I ran around for way too long, and sat around way too long, with nothing happening, like 80 minutes, before I finally just logged off. I saw people killing final boss in chat, but I didn't want to kill the final boss, I wanted to know where it started. Standing around for 80 minutes having no idea where to go to start and being lied to by a Town Cryer really killed the excitement. They said there was an invasion. There wasn't. It never started. I had no idea the reset time was an hour. Town Cryer said it was happening in the city I was standing in. What?!
The Town Cryers lie. There is no invasion happening where and when they say it is. The entire shard can be off killing Victor and they will still say that some town is under attack for a solid 20 minutes. But if you go to the town, it's a ghost town. Clicking them is just a blank window which again doesn't build hype or explain to anyone where to go. This has left multiple people confused. Why would the developers want their players confused?
The world announces the town invasion too early. Should say 'About to be invaded'. About being the key word. Or spawn the monsters before you announce it. It's silly seeing so many people running towards a town and then stopping and standing around because there are no monsters yet.
People camp the spot the bosses are going to spawn instead of helping kill the little spawn. Should be rewards for killing the little spawn and when enough have been killed a 1-2 minute countdown timer that the boss is about to spawn happens before it pops so the people actually doing the work to get it to spawn can get to the boss in time. Why not make the invasion monsters drop powder or something that you have to drop onto something. With a counter that displays. Otherwise, people just camp and don't fight the spawn. Maybe the more powder you contribute the higher you get in the loot pool??? Or you have to rub powder on yourself in order to deal damage to the boss???
Not enough of the little spawn. Even when running around there is nothing to kill. Or I'll see something and boom someone's dragon takes it down in one hit before I even get a chance. I can run around for 5 minutes and not ever get to kill a creature. No wonder people just camp at the boss spot.
Shouldn't the bosses randomly spawn somewhere in the town instead of at the exact same spot every time? Although this could also be bad if nobody shouts out where it is and it dies before anyone can find it.
Town bosses die so fast I can't even get their health bar up or hit them in time to get credit.
After a town boss dies I run to loot the corpse and fall into the portal that I can't see because of all the dragons and instantly teleport to the arena. Then I have to walk out, go back to the town, walk back to the corpse, loot, then go back in the portal. Annoying. Should be a "This portal takes you to a dangerous area are you sure you want to enter?" prompt.
When entering a portal if you didn't finish the prologue quest you won't get the new quests. Nothing explains this. It's also a bit rude for the quest to just pop up in your face in such a dangerous area.
After an arena boss is dead, I can't see its corpse. Control+Shift isn't good enough. Too many dead pet tags. We need a button combo that only shows boss corpses. I also struggle to reach it because all the players and pets are blocking me.
I feel like I did every quest I was supposed to do but nothing ever told me about Cleisha, Slovin, Uwe, and Sherwin or where I could turn in my points. I only knew about them because of general chat. The game should tell me these things. So weird to get quests to kill four horsemen and Victor Blackthorn after I already did those things.
And the game keeps crashing.
And Victor is broken in a loop.
Etc etc etc.
Only positive thing is the boss fights. Whoever did those did an excellent job! (Unless it's the same person who did the Titanweave Trap...I hate you.)
My point is concentrate more on the little things that matter though. Like don't expect players to know where to go...they didn't program the game.
I feel like a lot of these issues are years old. Years! Why is nothing ever done to help alleviate these problems? Why don't you read general chat and implement the things people are saying? Because I've seen them said over, and over, and over again.
Also, if 8th level scrolls dropping is still a joke in Season 2...I swear to God I quit.
