I have a bunch of ophidian rations, blackrock, ophidian journals and haven't handed them in as we were told they would have a future use. But I have not heard anything for a very long time and I want to know if I should bin all of this or keep it. What is going on and what should I do?
This is a question I am sure other people have, and I know that "DEVS" (insert appropriate name of person who stated that certain items would have a use) may not be around anymore, but are there any plans for the future to make these items useful or attainable again?
I cannot be alone in having many lockdowns taken up by blackrock, ophidian rations, snake skins, and various other items that were supposed to have a use. If there was a definitive "No, sorry, not anymore", I could get rid. If it was a "Yes", "No not yet but we will make them have a use" or even just a "Maybe", it would at least indicate some consideration.
The problem for me is that I find it hard to know what to bother with if this happened again - I doubt I would ever try hard to collect the amount of things I have in the past because, although fun at the time, half the fun was in knowing these things would be useful. And knowing that this may happen again makes me apprehensive to bother with spending lots of time getting involved in such things again.
If anyone has anything else to add to the above list, or dis/agrees, feel free to discuss!
