The "curse" of being bored

I love the major concern over cursed items.

I go to insurance shards and see the most stupid stuff insured. Even normal sandies and GM made robes. These players on these shards lose one item and there ready to quit the game. One guy sitting at the bank tossed a totally sweet dagger in his hands for a sec then took it off. I asked him "Why don't you use that". His responce was he was afraid to lose it because it was cursed. Was he a pvper...nope. did he ever leave Trammel... almost never was his responce.

Sit at the bank doing nothing because you have it all. Absolutely no motivation to get ANYTHING.

If YOU as a person were to take ALL the insurance off your items do you think the game would be a bit more exciting?

When your at the bank bored off your bunz, log out, log back in, and choose the shard Siege P. Over here we USE the stuff that most you think is garbage. That means we use BETTER stuff with HIGHER mods because we dont CARE if you take it away and force us to grab ANOTHER high lvl throwaway. I mean seriously folks... You hide in the Barneyland side of the world and STILL insure all that stuff. YOU INSURE ITEMS THAT CANT BE TAKEN ANYWAY. *Sheesh*

Come one and come all. You being here will give you the exciting rush you might need. It'll also take some of the heat off me from the MASSIVE 3 (yes 3) PK's we have running around the shard. I've lost so much stuff being killed 2 times in the last 4 months. And when your done, you can log back to your normal shard and continue to sit there being bored with all your semi uber insured pixel poop.

Playing a game where you never lose anything and the worst to can do is log in general chat and "upset" everyone... so much awesome fun huh. Siege at least offers you the "put up or shut up" concept. The guy that upset you in general chat here means you can remember the name and DO something about it later (if you can find him that is).

Just go back to the safety of "never lose anything but empty pots" world and don't bother with the flame posts.

Siege Welcomes You. Take a chance and have some excitement mate.

Good Day
No offense bud but to the average experienced player(fel and tram alike)Siege has absolutely nothing to offer.

Pvp is not one bit better on Siege. It is simply a hundred times more tedious.

Obviously the boring and endlessly repetitive task of stocking your house with the same old gm or mid-level loot gear appeals to a certain nature of player. Not me.
I get my excitement from the actual combat, not the act of stocking up & getting dressed before-hand lol.

But one thing I am always confused about is the Siege shard-wide code of ethics that says that if you kill another player and loot his gear you should then go place it on your vendor so he can buy it back. Wtf kind of peril is that?
To me that is just a different version of insurance as you are simply paying gold to end up with your gear again.

I used to play SP. It needs help but dev`s won`t do a damn thing for the shard.

Always loved it there but never liked the stupid rules of SP. Why it was made like that instead of just a full fel facet is beyond me.

I don`t want something different, I want pre Tram different. SP is close but it is not the same.

I would still play there if I could have a house there AND a prodo shard... or 2 chars instead of one... pushing you to buy Soul Stones. PITA kind of stuff like that is what keeps alot of people away.

I don`t mind making it harder.... but there is a line.

Because they want what you have but are too busy running around empty lands trying to find an easy target to take it from and don't want to invest in a PvM character because they find the challenge of killing Monsters to be boring...

takes alot of effort to learn how to pvp. its aggravating losing over and over.

most people ive seen try to learn just say its to hard and give up.

costs alot of time in resources to make a good pvp suit or 2 or 3...

most pvpers have pvm characters to farm resources or gold.

i wasnt great at pvm till i was good at pvp.

i have nothing to gain from killing players but excitement, i havnt done it to make money since i played SP. and that was from other very geared players and only so they could buy there character bound gear back. oh that and ganking pvmers. but it was mostly for rush not the gold.

most of these things are facts. i think. maybe.

p.s. killing monsters is boring = (

I would be much more likely to try siege if I could have a house there and keep my current one as well. If siege is really dying, maybe devs should consider this?
