EM Announcement The Black Watch is Recruiting New Members

Grand Marshal William “Iron-Will” Cromwell has established “The Black Watch” as the new Royal Guard. New Recruits are needed to protect the King and Kingdom.

Interested parties should apply in person in front of Castle Blackthorn on Saturday, August 30th, at 4:00pm Eastern.

I'm currently working 100 hours per week (no joke) so I don't think I can participate at this time.

Sounds great, remind me about old Safe Haven Regulators, who was helping at our events.
I won't be able to join of 2 reasons,
1.) I'm to busy as Guildleader on 2 chars and getting Safe Haven up running.
2.) I'm an Outlaws and a vampire, I can never be a Royal Guard as I do not follow a King.

There is no restriction as to when a member can join in. Feel free to join us when you can by attending any Black-Watch event to get registered.

I can certainly understand being busy and you do have a lot going on. As to your second point: Even a Guard Force or King has an occasional need for an assassin or other figures from the underside of society. And as you may have noticed in the introduction thread, there is some debate as to whether or not the Guard is protecting the King, or possibly protecting the Kingdom from Chaos.

No: You will be able to keep your current guild and alliances. The Black Watch is open to all and hopefully will bring folk from a wide variety of guilds, alliances, play-styles and cliche's. The Guard will be identified by uniform and merit rank awards.

The uniform scheme is laid out and will be discussed at the meeting today. I do not want to limit players too much (ie: Making a mage wear plate armor, etc.) so the *style* of armor will vary depending on the class. The color scheme will most likely be the Siege Shield colors *points left to the avatar*, but the players will have some input there before a final decision is made. I am still working on the method of applying the colors as needed and will complete that process once the final decision is made.
