I don't seem to recall saying anything negative about Nebraska's program other than they just don't produce top tier talent that is successful at the next level. They have certainly earned their place in history as one of the greatest college dynasties of all time. In the last 40 years Nebraska, Bama, Miami, and USC (Until the NCAA gets done with stripping titles) have the most titles at five championships each. All are legacy programs and are deserving of mention as greatest of all time.
I'm not sure if you are trying to insult me by calling me Kirk over and over. Number one, if you are, its not much of an insult. The guy is pretty successful at what he does, and what he does is gets paid to travel the country and watch college football all season long. Then, he gets paid to talk about it the rest of the week. Sounds pretty sweet to me. Number two, if you are, then I would have to ask why you feel it necessary to insult a friend over a disagreement about a hypothetical game.
. It's the type of place where 9-3 is a disappointing year and 7-5, 8-4 puts your ass on the hot seat as a coach. The fact is Alabama, with a competent coach at the helm, will always be one of the top teams in the country. It only took Saban a year to get us a shot at a national title, and another to get us one.
