The 210/60 archer suit

The 210 stamina/60 ssi archer suit - designed specifically to pump out 1.25 sec AI's...

There are a number of ways to get 60 ssi, the best (and most difficult) undoubtedly being to have as much ssi as possible on anything but the bow. Unfortunately, this goal often has to be compromised to obtain 210 stamina as there are considerably fewer options here. Essentially, these boil down to having 10 stamina on each of your armour pieces or having 4-5 stamina on items that don't normally carry this mod. Some Shame style drops will give 4-5 stamina on jewellery or even on weapons. Getting a drop that really optimises the imbue slots though is tough or expensive so after some thought, I have decided to take the easier route and reforge 10 stamina on all armour pieces. This has the immediate and major disadvantage of dropping the option to use artifacts in these slots but I am looking at this almost as a trial run. So:

210 Stamina - to be obtained from around 95 native Dex, 25 Dex on kit, 30-31 Dex from potion (or 125 native Dex and no potions at the cost of mana pool) plus 60 Stamina increase from armour pieces. This will require each piece to be reforged with copper or horned runics to ensure there are enough slots left to imbue the other necessary mods.

60 ssi - 10-15% on jewellery/rangers cloak, rest on ash-enhanced bow (up to 50 ssi)

Type of armour:
I am planning on 5 Studded pieces for the 55 total LMC. The head will be metal and at present, the best resist fit looks like a Circlet (pfft) This will not contribute to the LMC but will slightly increase the combat stamina drain protection. Plate would offer better Stamina protection but significantly less LMC in what is a very mana-intensive template.

Resists:
I want to have 75% in all resists as I plan on Refining the extra 5%. In addition, it would be nice to have 80% in Energy in case I want to have an Elf use it. Finally, I would like to further overcap Fire and Energy by another 5% to run at full resists in Wraith form. So total resists to be 75/80/75/75/85

Other required Mods:
40% LMC
25 Hits
45 HCI
100 DI
50% EP (or access to on an Ecru ring)

Other desired Mods:
As much HR/SR/SR as possible
As many extra stats as possible
20% DCI

Nightsight will be Nocturne Earrings or Elf race. Will probably run Human for JOAT Necro as it's enough to maintain Wraith.

Weapon:
Comp Bow - DI, SSI, HLD, HML, HSL, maybe Balanced,

Comments or suggestions?

The suit is fairly easy to build.

Horned pieces for neck, chest, arms, legs, gloves. For your head piece metal armor isn't a bad idea for the stam protection.

When reforging, you're going to get unwanted mods on your 10 stam pieces. 210 stam isn't enough though, you're going to want at least 211. The easiest way to do this is just use corgul DCI sash, as it gives 1 stam.

I usually do 50 SSI on the bows, and then 5 SSI on the ring and the ranger cloak. If you can get a 10 SSI jewel, then that would probably be better.

After making a few of these suits the one piece of advice I have is fit at least 6 stam regen in there. It makes a huge difference when you're doing moving shots. Your stam will fall below the 210 and the 6 stam regen makes sure that you stay at ma when you're running.

I think with 31 HML you louse all advantage of having 211 stamina (if you are going to play solo).
How are you going to get 45 HCI?

P.S. You notice difference between 55 and 60 SSI only when you stamina drop bellow 150.

It means + 25 DEXTERITY increase on your suit... You need to be at 150 DEX before +60 Stamina will get you to 210 stamina....

Good point about 211 Stamina. Reforging for 10 Stamina on the pieces is likely going to give me at least 6 SR though so shouldn't be a problem. As it so happens, the resists/enhancing with minimum number of imbues only left 5 points of resist flexibility in the template. That's low enough to make getting the resists on the last 1-2 pieces really tricky so I decided to use a Barbed kit on one piece with Aegis/Haste to overcap a couple of resists and make things easier. Got 4 SR with it. Downside is I'll need 8 LMC on the other 5 pieces or 6 LMC from a Mana Phasing Orb.

Regarding the 45 HCI...original thoughts were to have 15 on the bow but hard to see what to drop. I could use a clean 20% HCI bracer I have plus 15 on a ring and 10 on Conj Trinket.

75+80+75+75+85 = 390
52 * 6 = 310

So:
6x 15 res
6x 10 stam
5x 8 lmc
3x 5 hpi
2x 3 SR

Probably "As much HR/SR/SR as possible" means some HPR and MR...
Add here few DEX mods on the suit and ... and I don't see much room for MI.

Is it PvM or PvP suit?

Would an imbued Daimyo's Helm work or is it too much of a loss in other places?

Corwin - it's for PvM. Once I see how it pans out I might try and make a PvP version but I suspect that will be leather based for the MR. Remember that this PvM suit is likely to run in Wraith form so the HML is probably less important. I plan on Chiv and Healing for HP recovery (mainly healing) so the aspiration to have HPR would probably take second place to MI. You are perfectly right that space is tight...isn't it always? ;p

I have 3 Stamina-imbued Daiymo's Helms in storage but he resists are just too low and I would also have to find another 3-4 Stamina on jewellery or a weapon.

Is it for any kind of PvM or for party raids only?
The template would function best in party raids where it is not attracting loads of aggro. However, that could be said of most damage output focussed templates. I would love to see it solo but I can see weaknesses, mainly around DCI and mobility. Duoing bosses like Medusa should be very doable though.

Again, bear in mind this is a first attempt and that experience of using the suit will underline the strengths and weaknesses. If you shake this template hard enough, bits *will* fall off..;p

My archer has 181 stamina without potions but I still need to use dex potions to keep my stamina over 150 when I'm fighting tough bosses.

For party raids 211 stamina must be OK.
