And welcome to probably the ONLY shard of players that will endlessly argue debate and scream at each other in board pvp and in game even hate each other at times, over whom does what to or at any new people here and or to NEW guild members !
I was in NEW also, long time vet felt at times just WEIRD with a NEW tag on my head but I felt it was a good way to get to know THEM...what will they do or not do to NEW tags on their shard ? I figured slap the tag on and find out ! HAHA
Plus Shal is very good with *immigrants* here she does not coddle em nor did Freja but they both are very informative and helpful in those ways that basically tell ya whom is whom here yet ya still have to find out for your self.
Even when I was helping as a co GM of NEW after I was out of NEW, I oft told folks just bank what puny bits of stuff that you have and go for a long walk ..walk all over GET KILLED try to talk with some of them you will soon find out whom is an asshat or not and even then how ya get treated one time may not be how ya get treated the next time. Everyone has good and bad days.
I still tell new arrivals here go for a long walk, alone, thru every moongate across the lands and LUNA and Yew gate and Umbra and everywhere dungeons too Ilshener walk and walk ........learn whom is whom and even if they kill ya TRY to talk with em get to know em, don't freak out just say HI !
I still run into some asshats I figure if they gotta talk trash at a non combative no pvping skilled crafter that been playin uo 10 yrs too, and opted to BE a crafter on Siege, then it is THEIR ego not mine, that needs help ! HAHA
Actually one of my first deaths here WAS a VMP, but he was really nice in how he *roleplayed* while he killed me, which sort of intrigued me to stick around thinking gasp a murderer, with an IQ and convo, that actually tries to talk and rpl too ?? fancy that ?
At any rate I still tell new arrivals here to get out there *walk* around get killed get used to it, get to know whom *kills with class* or whom kills like an ass and have fun !
