I've been gone from UO for a very long time. I played solidly for many years. My question is, what is the pvp like? When I left, really the only champ spawn guilds out there in Fel were BiC and Champs. There were a few other guilds that sort of came and went within the fel world- but not many during the 2 years that BiC and Champs were around.

Who is the biggest competition these days? Are champ spawns even the battles that they used to be? What's worth fighting for in the game anymore?

Are there any 'pirates' or 'pirate guilds' around anymore?

I dont hit fel much. I know three champ guilds off hand.

CKS raids spawns. We ran into them when some from Pax did a spawn on the Island.

Spy and ghost cams still exist.

Now super dragons exist with stealthing tamers for pvping with em.

I can not say about pvp here, I just know there are lots of issues lately from the Siege crew that are pvp factioners and it is all quite alive but even there folks leaving cuz factions overdue for updates upgrades and fixes and ..pvp too.

soooooooooooooooooooooo................. folks wait for miracle fixes, or exit UO if they into pvping it seems. Like I said I can not offer much about pvp here but since I also play fel only ruleset Siege.... there are issues they do bring them up to the dev. team and some of the dev. team are looking into some possible solutions. So ya never know maybe..........they workin on some stuff.

I dont know about the pvp as I really dont do that . But lately they do seem to be working on changes a lot more than recent years. Wether PvP is dure up soon I am not sure some who follow the posts better than me might know if anythings been mentioned.

I see tons and tons and tons of RP'ing type stuff here, and hardly ever see the community that I grew up with here in stratics, outside of QZ.

A lot of them also went to Siege, and now many of them have even left Siege thus UO in general.

All of Siege's Waka came from here. . former CiB's etc. Many others went to Siege from here too to pvp, & created assorted guilds faction groups on Siege and some still there & some left UO entirely. Some of the *old* KoC from here, even, is on Siege still. . assorted names chrs. I am on both shards roleplaying here, roleplaying crafters there, but I do not pvp no more since AOS anyhow age of stuff..%%% bleh.

But, aye UO needs some marketing and dev. team love ASAP, or they will keep losing peeps to other games or folks just hang up on online games up entirely cuz UO remains still their favorite for diversity, but without some love and attention, fixing cheats scripting, they continually are losing customers. UO *gets some brand new ones now and then* and one can see some oldies return to UO, to try again on this shard or other ones, but 'keeping' us all, and growing more customers, as paying customers, in a game somewhat ignored of marketing and fixes, needing much cheating scripting fixes without punishing the honest players with excessive random resources of this and that making game more like dull work game needing pvp faction fixes, major crafting fixes, better customer service and marketing, is the greater challenge EA UO faces nowadays.

X is Horrible...yet when Champs disbanded you ran back to us to rejoin until Mikey finally let you into YB-B. LoL

Its Pwni and X that runs spawns on Chessy. YB-B is the third guild, if they are ever on. Most the fel people use our boards uodxm.net

Siege is the way to go for PVP. Don't listen to the rumors, it's a great community, with great people, and it's Felucca only for those of us who played back before Trammel

I originally played Chesapeake for years, but when I came back to the game I realized PVP is not what it used to be with Tram, so I joined Siege, and haven't looked back since.

Nothing is really worth fighting for anymore. (at least in my eyes) I actually quit uo because i got tired of paying for the accounts i had and when i would log on there would be noone to fight, because everyone would log on when champs went to sleep at 2 am. So i switched to the game BiC went to and im having a blast. Actually im getting tired of all the pvp im doing lol. But yea i lurk on the boards from time to time just incase something amazing happens that would make me come back... we shall see.

As Issac said, YB-B is never on. It's pretty much SW@T and PWNI, now. -665 is pretty much a gank guild. I'm not sure if they have any 1v1 people. My friend and me killed a whole X raid, 2v7. Seems like X is pretty much done from being at the top of the power chain. YB-B has some good PvPers, but they don't control anything because they are too small, while PWNI is slowly turning into a new zerg (a few peeps in PWNI are cool, too). SW@T has better leaders and numbers, in my opinion, but the people in PWNI are on nonstop Spring Break! hahaha
