its ok. I have a pair of scissors and an axe. I will survive.

what I don't have is ANY fighting skills. I have healing, chiv and stealth. And a couple soul stones. So tell me what great new template I need to play with the big boys.

about a month and a half ago I totalled my car. My first thought (after watching a tank of deisel sail into a field) was wow...this is gunna mean the end of my job. I wonder what happens next.

I have quite a few templates I swap around using my army of soulstones, primary few

Current favourites here on siege, ofc im pvmer and not pvper.

First is very good for everything, at least you will not die fast.
120 weapon
120 heal
120 anat
+ any combination of
120 tactics
120 resist
120 bushido
120 ninja

Next is fun to play but very defenseless, i use that only when really needed or when i dont mind losing what im wearing.

120 throwing ( but any weapon skill would work here)
120 bushido

120 resist or anat
99 necro
70 spiritspeak
71 + 9 chiv

Other char im training here will just be 4x leg bard , magery, med. Run nearly naked, no worries about equipment at all.

Incredible robust char ( for a non necro ) for pvm. Use a leafblade for feint, images for not getting hit, healing ,animal form, pots. Would probably not be bad here.

Other is hiding/stealth/ninja mystic , very easy to play but can go anywhere and fight nearly everything.
Current temp is not perfect in terms of skillpoints but you get the idea.

80 stealth
90 ninja
120 mystic
120 focus
110 magery
gm weaving
some med
( +30 skill from items )
May need some fiddling with the point distribution here to make it work.

Focus was originally used as a substitute for Meditation. The mana regen is not as high as meditation, but it does let you gain while wearing metal armor so it is good for warrior types. More recently - it was added as a boost to Mysticism where it basically works like Eval Intel does for Magery. It increases the power of Mysticism spells.

Ok seeing as this is a close as i can find on this shard for templates. Anyone have a good solo T hunter one. I dont think the one i sued on Baja will work as i think here i have to have remove trap (no Tking them i guess) and maybe detect hiddin?

No you dont have to have detect or remove traps, you just need good resists and you blow up the trap to your face

I use rising colossus to take out guardians, can solo up to lvl5 with ease. I have:
Magery
Mystic
Mining
Lockpick
Carto
Focus

The tactic is to summon RC and precast invis while digging up the chest, and as soon as you see guardians invis yourself. If they reveal, keep casting invis till colossus finish them off or colossus poofs.
Sometimes one colossus is not enough so you will have to recast it.
Oh and an ethy mount or a charger is very useful to have. I use the charger if colossus fails and cast it while invis, run off, dismount and precast
colossus then run in.

You can stone carto after decoding maps and squeeze in some other skills. Some people go and bring their dragon after digging up the chest.
And many others I know use hide/stealth.
I dont have any of those

yup, don't even need all the resists high, just make sure you have 70 fire resist.

I run a kind of 'jack of all trades' char that I have a lot of fun with, but she's 'master of none' so she can't do level 6 chests, or level 5s in Ter Mur (can't kill the maddening horrors).
I also have a legendary imbuer so I don't have to worry if I lose her skill bonus jewels, I can always make her some more. I don't mess around with soulstones.

Cart 100
mage 65
ninjitsu 55
hiding 100
lockpick 100
stealing 100
stealth 80.
Supplemented by: Tome of lost knowledge, Jewels (ring and brace identical) stealing +10, ninja +13 Stealth +13 Magery +13.
Modified magery is 106, ninja 81, stealing 120, stealth 106.
I only steal from monsters and statics.
I fish mibs, dig chests, steal balms and decor and do most of the resource gathering for my crafters.

On a shard where you can only have one char per account, she gives me a lot of options. I get maps out of the mib chests and mibs out of the maps chests, not to mention imbuing essences and abyssal cloth etc.

I dont think i can take a lv6 or 7 chest bomb to the face even with high resist and good resist armor lol. Hmm well i pooh ill have to see about getting a soul stone or 2 later on down the line to be able to play like i do on baja. Thanks for all the help new if i could just remember what starting skills and stats to take i could atlest get started lol.
