Hello,

I am trying to play a more farming template seeing as how it is empty right now. I have 120 Swords, Necro, SS, 115 magery, eval, 105 Bushido, tactics, anat, heal, 110 Tailoring, 85 Stealth, 100 hiding. I also have 76 archery (120 Scrolled).

So I was going to run a sampire but I am at a loss of how to start. I was running the swords, but my dex is a little low right now. I am looking for some slayers, because I just didn't do enough damage to go agaisnts the bigger monsters. Maybe I just need some more training out in the wilderness.

Any thoughts, or hints for me? Is the Sampire a good way to go or should I go mage something....

A great template for pvm is:

100 Hiding
_80 Stealth
120 Mysticism
120 Focus
120 Magery
120 Resist Spells
_60 Meditation
----------------
720 Skill Points

Many ways to heal, great summons with Magery or Myst. This build can handle most all old peerless with ease ( travesty is still a hassle ).

The new champions are not really an option if going solo ( Corgul, Scalis ), but thats true of all the builds.

No eval? on that? so 120 Focus/120 Mysticism that good huh...

I guess I was trying to be different then the mage builds, but I can do most of that. I don't have the scrolls for Myst but I am scrolled to 120 in focus.

Just curious what would be the tactics of that? Stealth up and hit with myst spells?

Summon collossus watch it kill the thing precast colossus again.rinse repeat. use magery for gating heals cures for yourself and invis or hide to get aggro off you.

Stealthing isn't required, if you're comfortable using invis spell to break targeting. Stealthing is nice for positioning and recovering body, as no insurance means you'll have no LRC to cast invis.

The Rising Col. summon requires 5 control slots, so you'll lose mounted speed if not gargoyle, which makes stealth very nice for getting away from paragon speed monsters, otherwise, ethy mount and 2 EV's are nice.

The Rising Col. is unique to all other summons in game. Sure it is the most powerful, but it also has a different targeting system. All other summons and pets will be targeted by all monsters in its line of sight, the Rising Colossus will not be targeted by any other monster other than the one it chooses to fight, making it last a very long time. A greater dragon may be stronger, but when the dragon is surrounded by a mob, it drops quickly, the RC has the privilege of 1 on 1 combat. You can aide it with spell plauges and other spells, but spell plauge will trigger off of the RC's offense, so thats all you really need. If you have spellweaving, arcane empowerment makes the RC very tough to dispel.

If you want to get your hands more dirty, look into a myst / archer build, they are fun too.
