Template for theif on siege

I'm fairly new to UO, and completely new to Siege. Since it's important to know what template you're going for before you start on it, I'd like to get some advice on a thief template. I'd like to play an assassin type character. That is, I don't expect to go toe-to-toe with a warrior/archer, but if they're distracted, I'd like to be able to do some damage. That being said, these are the skills I've picked. Since I'm new, I'm very open to advice on any of these skills.

I'm not really sure which skills below are necessary to have at 100, below 100, or greater than 100, so any advice would be great! Also, I know nothing about what my dex, int, and str should be at. And, when I finally make my character, what should starting stats/skills be?

Snooping x 100
Stealing x 100
Hiding x 100
Stealth x 100
Fencing x 100
Poisoning x 100
Ninjitsu x 100

Other skills I'm interested in are detect hidden and tracking. I just don't see how they would fit into the template :-\

You're going to need magery on Siege (unless you like walking). I'd say drop the fencing, add 100 magery and find a -20 mage weapon. You also don't need stealth above 75 unless you're super paranoid about being tracked. Stealing at 110 is nice, there are plenty of throwaway jewels on Siege to reach 120 if you want it.

Can't give advice about poisoning.

Well, assuming you have the 720 skill cap you could do:
120 ninja
120 fencing
120 stealing
100 snooping
100 hiding
80 stealth (for shadow strike)
80 poisoning
Or say screw poisoning, since most everyone runs cure pots and you can use shuriken and fuki, and go the tactics route instead for specials. If you are gonna do this are you going to be mostly thief, mostly assassin, or inbetween?

In between. Like I said, I don't expect to be able to engage in head-on pvp, but if I see I have the upper hand, I'd like to be able to kill someone instead of just robbing them. If poisoning is as worthless as it sounds, there's no reason I should keep it. My stat-cap is 705.

Quite like the template I am working up right now for Siege. The strategy I plan on using is to use stealing/poisoning in concert. Stealth up to mark, snoop pack, target either pots or regs or band aids...steal the item that will prevent them from curing poison. When I go gray, they attack...I arm my dp poisoned dagger or similar weapon, and then hit them with a nice poisoned shank.

When I get my fencing up to GM, I'll be joining factions which will keep me orange to a large majority of the population, so I need to be able to defend myself, lol...la

Damn, then I would suggest
115 stealing
115 weapon skill
100 hiding
75 stealth
90 tactics
100 snooping
110 ninjitsu
