TECH: What to backup for new system?

I know I need to backup the 'Desktop' folder but what other char related (macros, etc) do I need to backup if I'm going to be installing the game on a new computer? I don't want to recreate all my setups..

You only need to backup the Desktop folder. In 2D this folder is in the UO directory. In Kingdom Reborn it is in your My Documents folder under EA Games.

If you use UO Assist with 2D, there is a macro tree outlined in the Players Corner in the sticky about disappearing macros.

Last time I moved system, I also copied the entire contents of the UO folder itself so I didn't need hours of patching from a fresh install.

The desktop is the other one to catch.
