Taxidermy bug?

I recently caught a 187 stone big fish, and when my carpenter tried to use a taxidermy kit on it (yes hes gm, yes he has boards in his pack) it said "this cannot be made into a trophy".

I paged about it but sat at 7 in the queue for about an hour and a half before i got tired and went to bed.

Anyone else experience this or know a way around it?

Some "big fish" can't be made into trophys. It still is a "small fish" graphic

There is a list on stratics forums here what can and cannot be made into trophys where fish are concerned.

but we used to be able to make 'a big fish' into trophies, ive got one on my wall.
they took that out?

not to my knowledge. They added some trophies in (which reminds me I've not updated the trophies page yet) but there was nothing about taking out the normal, old, big fish.

Just had the same problem with a normal "Big Fish".

they've oubivously greatly increased the chances of getting a plain 'big fish' as ive been fishing them up left and right. heavy ones too.

havent caught a stone fish yet...where does it come from?

I did catch and mount the stone crab this week.

Anyone know if this is being fixed? Spent 500k on taxidermy kits to hang some rather large catches.....sooo kinda wondering.

First reported yesterday, Saturday, I doubt if we'll hear anything before Monday. Devs don't work 24/7. Though I suspect Mesanna comes close to it sometimes.

That would be very nice. While Ultima is one of the most venerable of the MMORPG's out there, we the paying customers do deserve and expect some level of customer service.

I had this happen to me too. A few days after the patch I tried to mount a new catch of mine (a 'Big' fish). It wouldn't let me but then I got a fish that weighed more stones (186) and it did let me. I cant remember the color if it was blue or green, I almost think it was blue.

So today I got a 190 Stone and a 192 Stone blue Big Fish, and It wouldn't let me mount either one of them. I even tried a green big fish of 188 stones and no go. So that throws color out the window. Then I randomly tried a odd number weight green Big fish of 125 that was caught back in oct of last year and it worked.

I know this doesn't really solve anything but thought I would throw more raw info into the mix.

Oh no it's much appreciated Lord X. At least someone is responding. I guess it's not enough that we play a game without a working homepage, and forums run by a 3rd party fan site. We now have to beg and plead to get a response from the devs and scrape and grovel when they actually reply.

I know that they claim to be understaffed, but how hard is it to hit the "Today's posts" button on the left and actually reply to your PAYING CUSTOMERS? Again I guess I am expecting too much from a game that cannot fix it's website or run their own forums.
