Talisman property, what does this do?

I know this is probably a really dumb question, but I can't find an exact answer... so here goes:

In the pic below, what exactly does "+20% Evil Mage Killer" do?
Does it add 20% damage for a melee weapon or 20% hit chance increase or 20% better chance for bards to provo, or WHAT?

I have actually never tested myself.

Is that the DI Property (which is capped at 100%, so pointless) or is it part of the final multiplier (like Slayer, EoO and Perfection)?

Also does it work on named mobs? (Renowned, or Serado for Yamandon Killer for example)?

the killer property is applied after damage increase and it stack in the 300% cap, but NOT into the DI 100% cap...

% protection should reduce the damage taken from that kind of creature.

I am asking because I have just recently found a 100% Yamadon killer tali and thought maybe I try that again (the normal Yamadon still is a challenge for me, as is Serado of course)

if you are at the cap (300%) for sure the killer mod is useless, so the protection will grants you some advantages :p

Considering what has just been said, I can see some use of the killer talismans for non-chivalry dexxers, mainly wraith/curseweap necros, but only for mobs without slayers, and I still don't know if it works vs named bosses.

Gosh I wouldn't know where to begin to look. The old forum for beta of ML? Does that even still exist?
Mythic destroyed our UO.com database. Even if you get to an old page where you can use the search box it reroutes you right back to the "new" herald crap.

Where does one find 100% Protection talismans ?

Does it depend on the level of the MoB hunted ? The amount of luck one is wearing ?

Cap for protection on talismans is 50%. When I played around with prot talismans, I got the feeling, that the protection did not work on casting damage. Additionally there are no super-prot talismans only for a single creature type unlike the killer talismans that have mostly fitting slayer properties.

So the Protective Bonus Talisman can only spawn up to 50% ?

By the way, is iy only a matter of randomness or is it plainly impossible that the same one Talisman comes with both the Offensive and Protective bonuses for the same one creature (I have yet to see one, even with low %) ?

Yes and it is fully random. The chances for a prot + killer on a talisman for the same creature are really low. Theoretically you even could get a slayer + killer + prot talisman like (ice slayer, lady of the snow killer, lady of the snow prot). I guess the chances to get a crafting talisman with 30% to except and to normal are higher .... :D

never see a 30/30 and I saw a HUGE amount of talismans... 30/x or x/30 are extremely rare, 30/30 are probably rare as a fire cu sidhe :D

I have to correct myself ... I just looked through my collection of talismans and found up to a +58% prot talisman (and several above 50%). So those are probably limited to 60%.

As for decent talismans ... I wonder about the Wrong-Revamp. Does ML loot/items include talismans?
