In truth Deacon it was not proxy he put the bid up to 100 mil at 8pm I am sorry I try to run a very clean bid to the best of my ability his bid came it at 8pm as you can see by his pm

I have the three other bottles. Lesser, elite, and the final bottle. This would have given me the set my new museum on cats. This is only "greater" bottle that has come up for sale and only one anyone has claimed to have. Thanks for your offer Orc, but for all I know that's only "greater" that will ever be available. I would have spent ALOT more had my 7:59 pm bid by POST been pointless. Next time I'll just bid open. "hey seller I'll pay you 5m more than highest bid because this should stay on our home shard" and not worry about watching the auction after that....

As far as "clean auctions" go, I'll leave it to the members of this forum to decide. I just think it's a shame.

Last couple of auctions I have been in on stratics would extend auction time in 5 or 10 minute increments if there were any last minutes bids, thus giving the other bidder time to counter. That does make it a bit more fair imo.

I have only done 2 of these for items and all I can say is everyone makes mistakes... I am sorry you feel that you got screwed but he did win and nothing I can do to change it.. I did not wish to extend the time because to me that would be greedy

Your way was the fair way Outcry and you did give a closing time for the auction. Most people just accept losing better than others.
