Taffy needs to be fired and replaced !

Since my miner is not High Seas upgraded at all, my only choice is to wait around for lazy Taffy to restock Saltpeter. ATM past few days she is taking her sweet ol time down here, to restock it.

She has been even going way over 30+ mins. just to go from 80 to 160 and beyond & trying to get 160 ++ out of her, the timing seems to be even worse. Heck even 1k saltpeter doesnt make much of anything in bulk.

So unless I spend ALL DAY EVERY DAY down at the dock, doing nothing but waiting on lazy Taffy to do her job....I got better things to DO with my limited, UO playing time.

Therefore, do not expect any more heavy powder charges on my vendor, till Taffy gets replaced with a more ambitious worker stockin' Saltpeter or more of us are sellin it making it mining it if our miners are upgraded to HS, or more of us here are stockin heavy pwd charges for those of you whom need em !

Taffy is asking 24 gp per saltpeter.

As to whether I give EA any more money to upgrade accts. or not ... is questionable !

I can sail on down there on Chesapeake and ya get 500 saltpeter in ONE buy. Granted the npc may take a bit of time to restock but ya still getting it in 500 increments THERE...and here it starts off at 20 lousy saltpeter, WAIT WAIT then 40 WAIT LONGER then 80..........WAIT LONGER STILL 80 becomes 160. ATM since I began around 6am or so, now its 8:36 am...ALL I have gotten off of her is 300 saltpeter !!!

From what I have read on UO HALL some miners get saltpeter faster, but then they not playing SIEGE either.

WHY OH WHY can not our npc alchemist at least give Siege 100 saltpeter per endless wait ? Then 200 , 400 etc. ?

So part of me is just PISSED and MIFFED...go on another shard its like pampered city...try to do same here endless marathon of time wasted waiting on the npc or mining it all up, just to get anything done for all of us here High Seas related !

They ignore SIEGE...not sure if I even WANT to upgrade my other accts to HS or SA...give them more rl gp for what ? So other shards get everything easier and we.................dont even get an EM event or saltpeter off the npc that does not take HOURS to get 1000 and even 1k don't supply much...since 6 saltpeter to make one black powder...add more black powder and 1 saltpeter more I believe to make heavy pwd charges...and who wants to fight with just 10 or 20 of those ?

We should be able to provide 1k or 500 heavy pwd charges to players without having to blow hours to get saltpeter *here* !! I really do not feel it would *CHANGE SIEGE* to have Taffy sell us all MORE per 30 mins of time wasted than...20 increments doubling pokey like !

MEH...my apologies ... feeling down, feeling like nothing worth the time effort any longer let alone BUYING upgrades from em to mine it all up more time just to get it, just to get to be .........about ignored here, pampered elsewhere shards ! Siege SHOULD BE the best shard for those whom like to pvp to sink each other ship to kill each other ship fighting and all that, due to our ruleset but...........................nooooooooooooo can't get enough supplies to help supply for that to even happen here, for them that may wish to do so.

Same with the lobster traps it seems. On Europa i get 500 at once, on siege 20.

Aye I read your post on the fishing forum this morning.

I was lookin for some miracle post regarding saltpeter for SIEGE and well big fat nothing.

I am even finding that my aquarium on Chesapeake is netting the large *easter island* statue about 6+ times faster than here...same amount of fish in the tanks, same care, and what do I get for rewards from my fish tank here ??? Stupid Capt. blackheart fishing poles that I throw out...and there.. my aquariums pop out a big shell or easter isle statue 2-3 times a week or so !

WHY the *rewards* or restocking or anything here as if shut down to a dribble ?

OH Taffy only took from 8:36 am to 9:16 am. I now I have 620 saltpeter...... she was a BIT faster, this go round !

How many charges does a fishheart pole have? I recently bought all you had on your vendor and either you are a lousy craftsman using rotten wood or iam too clumsy cause they didn't last a single fishing session trying to get a stock of shallow fish.

Did you restock? If the aquarium ones have more of similar charges add them aswell. You can raise the price for the poles aswell.

The Captain Blackheart Fishing poles come from aquarium rewards and they SUCK ! I barely use them on my own fisherman cuz they do not last very long.


But they are about FREE like 40gp or 50gp, when I do put em on my vendor. Most of the time, I throw them out when I get them wishing my fish tanks gave me something better HERE like I do get over THERE.

Now I have not restocked the regular fishing poles that Miranda makes with all wood types in a while. I experimented with runic saws I had recently, on makin RUNIC fishing poles...but they're a bit pricier since I was blowing a runic on em. But, they are not sellin too fast.

It was comic seeing fishing poles come with runic mods on em though.
Not sure why anyone would want a fishin pole with +10 Animal Lore on it or whatevers...but maybe as we fish one can LORE a fish, see if the fish, is 'Wonderfully Happy' or not to be caught by us, with that type of fishing pole !

39 fishing poles bought .. saves me alot of time to switch skills around. IF we could imbue poles i'd take them all with the serpent slayer property. Pitty they last only 100+- casts, so imbuing would be a waste.

Yeah....that's the worst part about fishing on siege...the crate of 100 fishing poles you need to keep on your boat since you go through one per spot O_x

I just steal them from the barrels on docks though, there's generally 1-2 per barrel and it amuses me. (the ones that act like the gold boxes in npc shops, that you cant just pick stuff up you actually need to steal it) Saves me from having to log in my carpenter

There's also the bonus that since i get them like this...my fishing poles are all reversed and face backwards
