Swamp Thing..

Callista

Journeyman
Stratics Veteran
She decided to walk home after running into him at the Olympus market. She explained the situation and allowed him to ask questions regarding an incident that had occurred. She was hoping to meet with Piper and Kodoz the next evening and hoped Thom could be there as well. Secretly, she hoped it might bring the guardians together once again. She hated the split, but loved the persons involved regardless. Kodoz had been her first Emperor and leader that she served under from her time as a Legionnaire in the might guardians through climbing the ranks herself with Piper and Thom. They were all her family, even though Thom and she had always had a special friendship she cherished above most.

She allowed herself to get carried away in her memories and walked deeper into the swamp than necessary to her home. Stopping long enough to look up at the sky, she wiped away a tear just as she felt a crushing blow on the side of her head……..Hours later the pain demanded she opened her eyes and immediately moaned loudly as she tried to move. Thankfully, whatever had attacked her had left her close to her house so she could mostly see her way home where she climbed her stairs slowly, stripped what was left of her armor, soaking in the tub.

After draining her water, she sat on the edge of the tub, drying herself off and examining her wounds with the help of the mirror directly across. She had a large bruise, already turning bluish black on the right side of her head, stretching from her temple to her cheekbone and jagged claw marks in her side, one deeper than the others, along with a multiple smaller scratches and bruises covering most of her. She did what she could to heal the wounds on her side and stayed awake most of the night, until she could see the first lights of dawn. While not wanting to sleep for fear she might not wake, she had a meeting that she could not miss later.
