Go ahead and keep it Kelmo... I'd just like to know where they ended up... As for where they came from, they were given to me awhile back because I'd intended to start collecting... Sadly the economy IRL decided against that.
im just sick over this. and cant understand why she didnt give back to misfits who had helped her before she quit paying the account. reading the uo rares forums last night i saw her post about rares...yet she just let these few siege rares go without care. goodbye and farewell. pfft.
I'm hurt that you feel like that, and confused and a tad frustrated as to why you couldn't say that while you were talking to me last night, instead of getting snarky on the forums.
Do you not think it possible that perhaps I'd wholly intended to either save them in the bank or give them to the Misfits for safekeeping before the account went inactive? Did it not occur to you that there was even the slightest chance that REAL LIFE played some part in my inability to do so? People can and do forget things. I got busy with more important things and forgot which day the account was to go inactive, SO SUE ME. What's done is done. If I could change it I would, but unfortunately, I don't have that power.
DO NOT assume that I "just let these few siege rares go without care". I was pissed off at myself for days afterwards when I realized I'd missed the date. But being a young adult between jobs during an economic recession, I'm not going to go out of my way to spend money I don't have to keep a UO account up, OR to reactivate one. The only reason my main account is still going right now is because I'm not the one that's paying for it. On top of that, if I didn't care about the rares, why would I go out of my way to try and make it to the IDOC to salvage them?
As for the post about rares, which post are you referring to? If it's the one I think it is... That post was made almost a month after the account was inactive... Long after I could do anything about it.
I'm not going to argue any further on the forums about the subject. You have an issue, PM me.
