Super Ken & 3 Spawns with SI: Auction Results

As the winning bidder on me (Airhaun) at the Kingdom of Dawn Auction, we took Super Ken out for his 3 spawns last night. First we finished an Oaks with ease as Super Ken ran around healing peeps and we all chatted about this and that on voice. Next up was a Despise spawn where we were visited by 1 Minax and a few KR looking for a fight. We fought them back and prevented them from hindering our completion of the spawn. From the Star Room skulls were dropped and we immediately headed to Shame for a Harrower and the 3rd and final spawn. At the Harrower we were visited by a few more KR (4 or 5) and about 4 or 5 GSE/Cartel (Super Ken’s guild!). There wasn’t very much PvP action during the Harrower but once the fake, the tents and the True Harrower were down, scrolls out, gold gone we all ran out front for some good PvP fighting. Super Ken showed fairness as he fielded against the enemy (his own buddies) and even went on the offensive casting spells to kill a few KR and Cartel. After it was over we went back to SI’s guildhouse to roll for scrolls. Super Ken didn’t want any scrolls but rolled just so he could say “been there, done that”.

Overall this was an unheard of event for an existing member of an enemy guild to participate in an Oaks Spawn & Harrower with SI. Super Ken conducted himself with grace and good humor. I would like to thank Cypher (CEO & GM of SI) and SI/Alliance members for being such good sports and welcoming Super Ken into our group for the evening. The mood on voice was light and we had a great time. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Cartel & GSE for also being great sports and allowing a valued member of their PvP group to spawn with us for the evening and even take some shots and a few deaths from this event. Very big and mature of you to handle this in the spirit of fun and new experiences.

I don’t have a screenshot program but managed to take 2. They’re not the most exciting but better than nothing. I’ll post more if I come across anybody who happened to snap a few. I had to at least get proof. And Super Ken has an official guild number proving and solidifying him as a one-time member of Spawners, Inc. #2011.:coco:

Thanks buddy, well done.

Careful....
You might give Ken ideas on trying to sell himself more often if he knows he can have a good time

Oh, absolutely, Ceno. But not for me. I'd really like to see more auctions for others to win when they might not have that much money. One of the girl scouts at the auction mentioned several times that they would like to have PvP lessons or more Fel experience, but couldn't afford it.

I had a great time, and finally got to meet a lot of the swell SI folks I had been fighting for years now. Off the top of my head, it's a shame I missed out on meeting Mistress Redline, Mezaria, Rumsfield, and of course, Adamantia.

The people I did meet made me feel welcome and part of the group, and I hope I did my utmost to replicate that feeling of trust. I've always said that there's gotta be a reason SI has lasted as long as it has, and last night I got to see that and experience it for myself.

Not sure if there'll ever be another chance (and what makes it so special is that it's a rare event), but what would be even better is if more people could try out the unique experience. After all, it never hurts to make new friends.

Totally worth the 5mil. =]

It is cool that everybody was such good sports with this. I showed up late to the harry and when I was told super ken was working with SI I was like wtf? (Awkward) When it was explained I remembered about the auction. What a cool opportunity to see the other side I just wish I could have got a kill shot on him.

I don't think most SI today even know you.

And I've killed far more SI than you have by now. I was allowed in because I do it with a smile...and I won the bid on Airhaun.

Technically, anyone could have won the bid. Even Hazmat. Even you. SI, and especially Airhaun, wouldn't show up in a celebrity auction and then back out of his obligations simply because the person that won it wasn't to their liking.

Looks like Greyheart keeping a good eye on SK, or took bit to get used to.
