Sunday VvV event, can we do it?

It's almost Sunday. Last we was 5 HI5, 1 GIL and me seen in the town the 2 hours of the event time.
No surprice as no one know what to expect.

It will start 2:30 pm EST / 8:30 pm CET

I believe this Sunday events are a good way for new and lesser PvP'ers to test their skill and gear and I would like all to put a side the drama and lets have 2 hours of fun fighting each others without fear for looting.

Can we do it?
Who are willing to show?
Can we try to keep the ganking low?, no need to be 5 on one.

The goal should be to win the town, win the alters, turn in the sigels.

TDO will be there, I don't know how many, maybe only me and a young TDO who will join for first time.

TDO do not side in the drama. On the field in the battle town, we will focus on the alters and try to win it for TDO alliance.

If someone can't respect this 2 hours of no loot even, please tell now, so all know what to expect.

I believe we all put a side looting for this 2 hours and get a good Sunday where dying is no big deal.

I will enjoy fighting both HI5 and GIL, depending of who have the numbers, I may choose other side.

No need for a poll, just forget about this stupid drama. Grab an old suit if you fear looting.
Looting is not the end of the world and you get a few lockdowns free.

Even when Siege seem very peaceful, you never know what can happen.

Sure Freja may not to be able to able to run in her best suit if Siege get more vile but on the other hand, Tina Tink will be happy as she will sell more suits and more crafters will make a busines here, farmers too.

So more wolves err PvP/PK action with some looting will increase the demand and we will see more sheeps err Crafters and Farmers.

It's a game, just enjoy it and find a way to survive the challenge we may see.

Hehe two hour's now,and it will be to the new siege player,hey! i thought i was on siege.how the F,would i know there was such an agreement,maybe i should google how to play with siege people.

Thanks for the fun all. I don't know if others than Me, Mish and I heard Sargatanza died.

First town, Mish and I was fighting Susie and Boolean.
Zora show up and was fighting Susie and Boolean, MOSSY joined in and Susie and Boolean left town.
Mish and I took a dirtnap more, this time to Zora, MOSSY and a few more HI5.
.Mish was as always mega lagged and left town. I then had a fight with MOSSY, when my stats was up and died again
Think next town, Mish and I was fighting Bo and Max and yes died again.
If I remember right, HI5 showed again and fighted Bo and Max and I believe at least Susie joined.

That what I can remember without my journal. I don't know if the 2 sides successed killing each others after I left for bed.

I believe both sides expected the other side to loot.

no deaths on either side that I know of. However Sargatanza made an appearance in Jhelom and was jumped by 3 VvV HI5 and 3 more blues who then turned orange. Of course he was drylooted and reskilled a couple of times.

I believe he had bad luck, and they was hungry for blood GIL blood, but only got him . I will see when I get home if I can help him rebuild his suit.

I need to make one thing clear for you Doc, TDO and I had always been more to the dark side than the good side. We/I do not dry/heavy loot, I do not loot at all unless I have a good reason for it. If we get dry looted, we may just accept it or try to pay back or try make´a kind of truce betwen TDO and the guild/player we have a problem with.
I do not try to set rules for other guilds, Also who I call friends, is my choice. I do interact with other guilds. This are a game, and if I choose to respect both the evil and the good side, it's my choice, I do not have to choose side.
The choice I make may get me or my guild killed, it may make us lose some friends and may make us lose some respect but thats a part of the game.

Its okay if you don't agree with no looting, but please don't show to an event that is a no loot event, and say you will NOT loot and then proceed to do so.

Nothing says awesome like ganking, res killing, and dry looting a new player at a no loot pvp event.

Its like that person who shows up to a pvp tournament, understands the rules, says no pets and you use a pet ball to summon a dragon...

You make you and your entire guild look like a bunch of tools.

I have seen the Hi-5 roster and not only are there some very good pvpers but decent people who I am surprised to be associated with those type of tactics.

I will be back playing soon and helping to organizing the events on Sundays again. There is a large enough network of guilds both Vice and Virtue interested that I will simply keep the times and locations between trustworthy guilds. I'll setup scenario's both in VvV towns and in other locations as needed to protect participants from being manipulated and abused.

I like to include everyone in the events but I will absolutely work around you if you've lost the trust of the shard and no one is open to working with you any longer. I am just returning and can't say whether that is where Hi-5 sits now or if people will give you a chance since you are transitioning to Siege (and it can be hard for some).

It's a 2 hour pvp event for the shard once a week, that allows people to come together in larger groups, pvp with purpose and not stress about replacing suits.

If you can't handle no looting please don't come. If you want to have a pvp battle with looting, post an event of your own. Those are fun as well and I've posted looting events in addition to the non looting events. What makes groups hard to work with is when you can't trust them and right now Hi-5 looks pretty sketchy,

I do believe one of the issues noone really agreed to the no loot part.
Would GIL had looted HI5, if they had successed kill them?
Would Bo and Max had looted HI5 if they had successed killing any of them?
Would HI5 had looted if they had killed GIL, Max or Bo?

I can't ansvar any of the 3 question. It's sad it happen to be Sargetanza who was looted. I do not believe feel good about that but rules are different in a PK/PvP guild.

This Sunday, there was no clear deal on no looting. I can't say if HI5 would had been looted if they did die and Zora sure expected to be looted dry if she died, I believe GIL, Max and Bo expected that too if they should die.

As usual, TDO was caught in the middle and could not side by any of the sides as TDO would not want to cause any of the sides getting looted, so we had to fight one at the sides at the times.

right, I seem to have forgotten: over the last two years GIL, TDO, Bo, me and whoever else was taking part in the sunday VvV all came together each Sunday, discussed the rules and signed a legally binding contract on the no loot rule etc. etc.
Seriously Freja: if you don't care about being looted or others being looted, so be it. But please stop making excuses for HI5 or whoever disrespects the agreement not to loot.

Yes I knew GIL, TDO, Bo and Max would not loot each others. But I did not know if GIL or others would loot HI5.
Second, I could not know for sure if some of Zora's men would loot TDO.

Bo in the past when we ran the events and a certain group would essentially crash them, and loot they'd be added to the uninvited list. It would be posted in advance that if they show up all other groups would cease combat with each other and work to remove the party crashers and since they'd be uninvited guests they would be looted upon death.

In these situations young and inexperienced pvpers usually head for cover and veterans from the various guilds stick around and fight off the threat. Young pvpers need a little more protection but also tend to panic when they see orange and might not be savy enough to understand fields and targeting and end up causing a mixed group more issues then help. ["He's attacking me", when in reality the person screaming in vent went through your field etc]

A few vets like Morgan, Susie, Boolan(Gil), Max, the Bo, Freja, Mish (TDO) and a few other random people attending the event working together would do fine against a group of 4-5 Hi-'s.

If our little hodge podge group won the engagement, I still wouldn't loot but I wouldn't say anything to anyone who did. Likewise if we lost and I was looted I'd not be thrilled but I would accept it as it would be an honor to fight along side the names above win or lose.

This could be fun, but The bo would tell you that group would be at a severe disadvantage. No Mages, No Cross healers, 2 Mystics sync'n on stealthers that sacrifice dmg for healing. No way to communicate/call targets and scream for heals/cures, para fields everywhere vs dexxers is no good for them. trust me I know it sucks.

Can totally relate to this. Sometimes if you stay calm you can turn the tables in situations like that and get a kill and stay alive. There may be UO gods answering our prayers sometimes haha!
