Hello all,

I've just returned to UO after a 2 year absence. I have to say that some things have changed for the worse such as the near inability to play Destard in solo mode. But that aside, I had an interesting idea occur to me.

Most tradesmen are able to write repair deeds for the crafted items and other items. A tamer/veterinarian is also a craft and because many charactersthat are not tamers or veterinarians and have pets and use them mostly as a mount or burden animal, they should have a similar ability. A veterinarian who is capable of ressurecting animals should be able to write animal resurrection scrolls for use by those people who have that stubborn creature who insists on running off to get itself killed just because it doesn't like some particular mob. I hate it when my pet rabbit tries to kill those pesky nightmares!:bdh:

i agree with u on destard its so annoying not being able to go in their anymore
instead of making greater dragons they should have made ancient wyrms tameable and kept them in the area where they already spawn
tamers get their stong 5 sloter and warriors and others can still hunt in destard by themselves

I think he was trying to make veting actually useful...

The two things you listed don't help veting, it just makes it worse.

You think vetting isn't useful? I think we must play different games. In my game, vetting is not solely used to resurrect pets - it is primarily used to heal them.
