Success of the Merge

Tonight, Niki and I were sitting on her lot, in Thrills CC Cars, you know solving the worlds issues, and just chatting about the game - you know real, girly, girly sort of stuff, and I said to Niki, that I dont think we ever congratulated the Devs on the success of the merge. Yes, there have been a few issues here and there but on the whole, this project was a success!

So Devs, I lift a glass of champers to you, and say well done! Our sims arrived with the same heads attached to their bodies, (which we have all breathed a huge sigh of relief about) and over all I think you guys worked your tails off to bring us a merged city - and despite what others say - you delivered!

I think they did a great job or the merge too. Thank you Dev's. I moved a few accounts and I did not lose nothing in the process.

Oh yes I agree absolutly fantastic on getting the merge done. I had thought it would take at least 6 months and was amazed at how fast they moved. It really is great to have everyone all together in one big city too, kudos on the great job with the merge!

Yes many thanks to the Devs for the successful merge. All my avatars, lots and stuff arrived safely. I was especially delighted that my Betaville avatars were able to make it here with their lots and things.

Hooray, hooray! I will take a break from clubbing the devs about the economy to give them a cheer on this one. Merging the cities has been their best achievement so far. Well, for some of you it may be custom content, but for me it's this one.

Excellent post! The merges went much much better than I ever anticipated. Especially when my Betaville home even showed up in town. Miracle workers, they ARE! Great job DEVS!

Thanks for starting this thread, I too am thrilled that the merge went so smoothly! Never will forget the great body/head switcheroo in test lol. Good times for sure.

So to formally say it, Thank You Devs for merging all my little meeps to the grand new city. You Rock!

I hugely appreciate the work they've done for us. Especially the night the game went down and the devs worked til past midnight to try to get it running again. Their dedication to helping and listening is admirable and I'm continuously thrilled with their work. So thanks devs!

That is true. The merge was a success. I happen to be one, who enjoys being able to jump around all the cities without having to go through the time it took to move from city to city. (At the time move was a major improvement to the game.) The merge was a major improvement in this game. To the devs out there responsible for it, Thank You.

Thanks devs, you took our cities that are so beloved and were struggling to maintain a decent population and put them into 1 big awesome place, tysm!!!

It is wonderful to me especially since I have insomnia occasionally, and I am thankful I can log in at ANY time of day or night and there are always friendly avatars to greet me

I am ashamed! I can't believe something like this merge was suggested a year or so before and I worried it would make DG forgettable, but the opposite is true. We are here with our city pride and glad to make new friends from other cities
