Subject Free players

There was a thread here a few days ago about 'annoying' free players. I read it with a lot of interest, and i woudl reply on that thread now but I cant find it anymore.

Anyway it got me thinking, and i decided a house with a lot of free players could be really good fun, so with a spare sim and a spare size 8 lot i just happened to have hanging around, I made good use of the tons of inventory i have and made a house designed for free players to hang out.

Its been the best fun I have had for ages and I just love it! loads of people come by, many dotn speak english, but thats ok, there is nearly always someone there to talk to them AND i have learnt a little portuguese from the many brisilian players I have met in the last day or 2. Im getting myself a portuguese phrase book so that I can communicate a little better.

And so what if they dont clean up the plates, thats what I pay the damn maid for! I just move em upstairs till she arrives, better than watching her scratch her ass all day.

Ok i dont get visitor hours from free players, so what, they still turn up, and yes im lucky enough to have enogh cash to feed them, but they only get buffet and thats cheap enough. I even do a few contests for them with some small money prizes. Its an absolute blast, and beats running a store into a ****ed hat

I like how you took a situation that many are freaking over and turned it into something you enjoy.

Plus you are keeping all the freebies away from the people who can't seem to handle them.

I say you fire the maid and give jobs to the free players. Make them clean the toilets and clear the table and then pay them for the services done. It would be kind of like harboring illegal simigrants..

I have to tell you a funny story that happened to day when I logged on there. There was a roomie and some visitors all eating birthday cake, as I landed the roomie shouted 'Gwen, we need food, pls help'

Well, the funny part is that there are 7 fully stocked buffets in the house that i left so that the roomies wouldnt run out of food, but what i hadnt considered is that they didnt know how to set a buffet up lol, because they had never done it before!. Poor starving roomies

I am not a free player, but I will gladly donate a sim to work there. I have thought of doing the same thing in opening a house where free players can come hang out. Just haven't gotten enough enough money together to start this. If you want a roomie who was been around for over 5 years... let me know

I've just about topped it off with the new freebies...I try to help as best I can when a legitimate newbie comes in with questions about the game etc., but so many are obnoxious, insulting, and a waste of the little money we have. I wish they'd of kept them in TC3 with the rest of the testing because I'm losing interest in having our house open with all the free accts. showing up who don't give a damn.
