You can't log in as EJ until the account has been closed for 120 days. There are quite a lot of restrictions on EJ accounts, listed here Endless Journey – Ultima Online
among the most problematical is that you only have 20 bank box spaces and if you have more than that in your bank you won't be able to take items out.

if you have them in there when it goes EJ, it won't let you get anything out. you have to do the vault token to remove the items. I have several accounts in EJ with this issue.
