if i drop swords and add archery does parry still work or should i lose it ?

so i guess my question is does parry work with archery ?

Parry will work as long as you have skill points in it.

Work with archery? Well, you can't hold a shield with a bow.

Edit: In other words, there are a lot more useful skills to add in place of parry. I don't know much about blocking with two-handed weapons but I think a while ago that made it possible to do that. I don't think it works very good though in the long run.

But, if you had bushido along with parry, wouldnt you get a benegit since archery requires a two handed weapon?

Parry and archery do not work together. Bows even though they are 2 handed will not work with parry as would say a 2 handed mace, or swords weapon.
