Stopping The Immortal _I_ Guild...

I'm calling out for help...

As a player of great lakes for over 6 years I've seen many guilds come and go, I've been in my share of skirmishes in my solo adventures, and I've also played alongside of some of the most fantastic players to venture these lands... I may be a lonely archer, but that doesn't matter.

Now, a new era has begun...

This _I_ guild has been running rampant... Raiding every spawn, at every hour, of every day. Although I hate to admit it, they have seem to have destroyed every guild they encounter, regardless of numbers. They are obviously using anything they can to achieve this, and now, citizens of Great Lakes, I call to you to put an end to this.

I suggest, all guilds rally their troops, put all your petty differences aside, and unite to achieve one COMMON GOAL. If BC/NTAG/JW/TDR/XV would ally, regardless of past problems, we could destroy this new guild, and return Great Lakes back into a shard of fun, and adventure.

Please, fellow players, can we not set aside age-old rivalries? Can we tone down the burning flames of hate? Why can't we decide who plays on our shard? I even call upon NTAG to answer this call, because we will need every person we can to beat these guys bad enough to where they want to x-fer.

We must run these noobs off of our server. I am willing to commit fully to this, because I feel as if there is no other way to beat them. If we do not beat them off the server soon, I fear this shard will slowly die just as many others... Guys, we have one chance.

I have seen a post very similar the same on another shard. On Baja there was a guild called cartel it was the best pvp guild on there shard. Whether anyone wanted to admit it or not they won far more often than they lost. Post like this only embolden them.
I have not faced this _I_ as of yet but i have a feeling i will. This i say to you RainVI your ideal is honorable however such an alliance is not possible. Baja tried and failed. Soon there was only a few guilds left willing to even battle cartel. I for see the same on this shard. I challenge this shard to prove me wrong.

Know this I will run from you at first but only to go get my pvp weps. Then i will come back again and again till i run out of insurance gold or you leave. I may not kill any of you but i will make myself annoying. I am the best meatshield!

Ask Thrashinel about how often i come back. On that side note at ice i ran off got my pvp bow and came back where did you go! I wasn't about to fight with an ogre slayer. Heh walrus. He will understand who it is with that said.

Its not that _I_ is built of "godly" pvpers. Its more of "how" they obtain that status.

So if all the shards local PvP guilds banded together when _I_ shows up, it would make any attempts to raid spawns futile and encourage them to move onward.

Thus the outcome. GL returns to its normal slander/name calling between local PvP guilds. Everyones happy

Such an alliance IS possible.

Because, as most, Great Lakes was built upon a strong foundation of credible pvpers and adventurers alike. Now, I see the same faces of felluca have moved on, and new, younger players have emerged, whom take the game more serious. This Immortal Guild is one of them... A fierce guild of die-hard pvpers who seek to destroy every other guild they encounter...

Now, would this alleged alliance last forever? No.

But we have to do something, and we need to do it quick, guild activity in felluca has already decreased alot, the multi-guild fights do not even exist anymore. These Immortal can all be defeated, as long as we stand resolute, we can bring back the fire in the game.

Destroy the invaders, and let us return to the old Great Lakes. So again, I call for all citizens of Great Lakes to take arms and push these guys back to their holes.

So you speak but how will you manage this. The amount of favorable responses to this idea seems low. I have seen no guild say yes lets do this with true zeal. Iv got 2 other people in my guild we are stubborn enough to see this through. But how many guilds will be left in fel when is all said and done? We have seen this before as i said. When all was said and done there was no one in fel outside of yew. Spawn fighting was all but extinct.
You guys better not wuss out on us we just got here!

Obviously the only 2 that need to ally are tdr/j^w we just need to all log on at once. But if you seriously didnt get what he meant, obviously crak meant bc and tdr. I could be wrong but i dont ever see that happening. It isnt about winning the fights, its about the sake of fighting for fun. If it means _I_ stays on the shard i support it because atleast they bring fights, no matter the day or hour. Anyone who actually loves pvp can see this as a good thing, otherwise you only like the zerg and to feel big

TDR isnt hiding in tram, we arent bc. We just dont typically have a good number of people on. Cialis i'll pm you my aim screen name (since i cant dl icq) when you guys find a fight with _I_ shoot me a message and i'll show up and maybe bring a few guildies if theyre on. We aren't scared, but why show up 2 or 3 vs 10+ ? I wont be around for the harrower tonight though, so if its past 5 eastern i wouldnt bother icqing me tonight. Work 5-2am =/

Wow u actually spelt my name right for once. It may be true right now that im refresh stratics pretty often but its because i have to keep catching up with the 5000000 posts i miss while im out having a life. You know, some of us have friends, and jobs without computers, and actual lives to attend to and cant be on here all the time. Last night i go out to the mall and out to eat with one of my female friends and come home to find a ton of posts so i reply to them, by the time i reply to 1 or 2 someone has replied to me.

These boards are going very fast paced lately. Its been said before that people like me keep these boards running (by firecrazy i think) these boards arent meant to get wicked intense and serious like you seem to get. They're for fun. I enjoy posting because i like to see people cry, i enjoy getting into huge arguments and debates because it makes you think. Now i know thats not your strong suit but i enjoy it. It doesnt take me 2 days to think up a reply like you, i see u reading all the forums but not replying for days.

Sieg why dont you stop making claims about anything. This following pic shows more tdr than FHP fields on a daily basis and were always out in the field. It is ok if you want to hang at the gate but how about you stop trying to prove it aint so.

Sieg in order to see BC, or anyone else for that matter, doing anything about _I_ you would have to log in. Then you would have to drag yourself away from the YEW gate.

I log in and check yew and what do I see.

I see five TDR/JW doing what they do on any given evening i.e. walling in unsuspecting blues to kill them just outside the guard zone. Not tonight boys.

Out of our whole alliance we are lucky to have one or two of them join us in the field. Some love the fight and respond when we ask, key word when we ask. No matter what you say, your praise is noted of the godly as you put it FHP. You evidently dont know **** about your own guys if you dont think they sit at yew gate. That's where I always find them.

First of all my young friend it is not a claim. I stated a fact. There are more people in either picture than FHP fields on any given evening.

Neither you or I have any idea how many is fielded by our alliance at any given time but I can tell you the number that normally comes to fight with us can usually be counted on your thumbs even if your missing one.

Map is not up because the map server is on a members machine and he stops it when he is not online.

I did see several TDR involved in the very long destard fight last night. Good for TDR. Hyatt was one of them but a few examples dont change the fact that I and everyone else percieves TDR as a gate guild. The reason for the perception being the fact that during prime time when fights are going on else where TDR can be found at the gate.

What time was this fight at. Cuz i worked til 2 am so believe me i would have loved to have been there instead. As for calling fhp godly, that was an insult because you guys have such an ego pretending your a serious force in fel. You may find a few people at the gate alot of the time, guys like saint, merlin, sed. But you dont know everyones chars otherwise u would know they often arent there.

Also in all fairness I will admit that many of our alliance members spend much of thier time at the gate too. It does not make them bad. It simply means they have no reason to be offering opinions on the nightly field fights
