The first thing I have done in any game in the history of gamedom is disable music.

Sometimes I worry that I am fatally flawed and am missing out on a central piece of my humanity, leaving sorrowful, soul-crushing emptiness where the poets and artists would see beauty and the intermingling harmonies of life and triumph.

Then I usually hear a quiet footstep or door opening, pat myself on the back for not hippity hopping with the kids' disco oldies while there was danger about, and stay alive.

I just love classical music. Specially on a Violin. The harmony leaves tears of joy in my eyes.

That simple, melody played a big part in what was to become my 15 yr love affair with Sosaria.... I wish it still played ingame, like it did those many years ago..

Browse to your UO folder, go to the Music subfolder, and then replace some piece of music that does still play with the Stones.mp3 from the same folder.

I assume the EC would offer the same thing.

Love it! hmmm... Is anyone aware of there being sheet music for any of the UO songs? If so where can they be found?

A memorial to the one who wrote Stones is still in UO. Others may know this story better than I, but as I recall, she was the wife of an Ultima programmer.
Her memorial includes a flower strewn grave, pedestals topped by jugs & musical instruments, hedgerows and marble benches and a headstone marked, "In Loving Memory of Gwenno." She was obviously loved.
