Stone Cache/Obelisk Not Working

@Larisa I have set up an Obelisk in my house two weeks ago and it also did not work. Then, after reading this, I remembered that I had two "Heart of Earth" in the bag. After switching them the tip suddenly started bobbing and doubleclicking worked fine.

Maybe you have mixed parts from different sets? I know that quested more parts with another account after finishing the set, because I wanted a "Tongue of Flames" for deco purposes. I did not switch these to see if it stops working again, but my guess is that you can't mix pieces you got with different accounts.

Maybe someone else can try to reproduce this? And I hope you find your fitting pieces to set it up again.

I just put 2 up and im sure they are not from same set as i got parts of them from different idocs across all of uo. had to use 2 accounts but both work and it doesnt matter where the breath of air or tongue of flames are.

Hate to Necro a thread.....But

I was doing some decoing and found a obelisk in my house and was trying to assemble it. It seems to be correct however it get the message obelisk is incomplete.



Are these turned off or are they just that hard to assemble? Also is it assembled correctly? Thanks

I found that if it gets transferred from one shard to another, pieces break sometimes. The only solution I found was to swap out pieces until I found the one that was broken, sometimes it was more than one.

They are very buggy.

I don't have mine currently placed
but this is what I went with when putting mine together

the difference between the two are the bottom two
try lowering these pieces one click

and the other two pieces need to go up
see if that helps

place the obelisk tip on ground raise it up until it stops then drop all the other parts raise them up and last drop the cache under it it will should work

Not all the time. Usually I've found that the tip breaks. I had many pieces and swapped them out one by one...I have 2 working ones and many broken pieces lol.

You don't have to move the pieces up or down even one time...you don't even need the base. Pieces break, it's frustrating.
