Still massive lag spikes on new hardware

Can you post the traceroute you used to determine that this is EA's problem and not one of the MANY systems or companies in between you and EA?

I've been out spawning with other guildmates whom are located across both Canada(myself) and the US and we all have the same spikes at the same time for the same length. Ventrillo will suddenly go nuts with "crap and Sh!te". While I could see it for one person or two who have to go over the same hops but for everyone(6+ players), I call that more than odd.

Do you also notice your character suddenly speaking a new language composed mostly of a single vowel?

I would actually say lag is worse now....and I don't even know if our shard GOT an upgrade...but now we have lag and I'm getting stuck on server lines a lot more than I used to. (can't move but can still use skills, etc)

Strange.. Massive Lag whilst out on a guild pirate hunt. Lag only vanished when our captured pirate said 'Sorry, That was me'.

Either he just farted or he really has some powers beyond our capability.

You all have to go through the same LA hops, so it could still not be EA's fault. I noticed one of the LA hops tends to suffer packet loss, meaning that host is being overloaded with requests. So obviously if you are all requesting at the same time and it lags, you all lag. The servers were moved completely to a bad location, I am not sure if the same thing happened for the East shard servers, but all the west shard ones go through terrible hops (I recognize one of them as being the LAX airport since I use to work there)

same on Legends tonite for both me and hunting partner, one east coast, one Texas.... locks up like it's intention is to dump you, then you can move again

I've played on Chesapeake for a long time. Tonight is the first time in years that I've had any problem logging in. I can get to my characters, but can't get into the game now. And by the way, did they move Chesapeake's server to the west coast? I have about the same connection now to Chessy as I do to west coast shards (I'm on the eastern seaboard).

Yup. Chesapeake has it now.

Some of my guildies are on and playing just fine and others were booted and cannot log back in.

The fact that everyone, from the 4 corners of the country, experience it all at the same time...definitely point to a Mythic issue.

A lot of folks are not going to put up with it much longer. Somebody best be out there earning their pay and get it resolved.

It's from all over the world ... and on some servers they have not supposedly not 'upgraded' yet!

Same on Napa, All freeze up and same time. Nasty lag spikes from hell, and it
seems we have to recall at least twice before we actually recall. And all since
the upgrade, for some it got worse, others for the first time.

I hsd that on LS yesterday a couple times, wondered what was going on. On a POSITIVE note, it's pretty cool to see people take responsibility for their actions and admit their mistake - especially that pirate!
