stealth question

do u have to have real skill to stealth, or could u use item increase to, i dunno say 80 to get the same effect as real skill?

Stealth skill from items works just the same as real skill. (as long as you are under your cap, of course.) There are a LOT of items out there that give stealth to boot!

which is what i thought, ok so i got a char with Gm hiding, bought 20 real skill, have the +10 stealth robe +20 stealth cloak, got 30 skill points of stealth on my ring and brac, so thats 80 stealth ok... except wearing what ive posted im pretty much naked, and yet i cant stealth even 1 tile.

Do you have on always run? when you say pretty much naked, do you mean nothing else besides those items, or only a few things more. If you have on any heavy armor like ring or plate, you will fail more often.

i have on a robe, cloak and ring + brac, that makes me all 80 stealth, always run is off.

i don't even stealth one tile :/

wierd. where are you attempting this at? try it at home since you can never fail on hiding there, maybe that will help. not sure, just a suggestion.

While this might not be the case......

You can't stealth mounted and I assume flying, but I haven't tried the stealth flying thing.

Well i did start this at home trying it , then moved out side my house still couldn't stealth, then went to luna again nothing...

wow, maybe try buying up the skill to 30 (or 40 if possible) to put you at 90 or 100, see if anything happens then. after that, i would maybe just try to page

funny u should say that, i went in rat form or what ever form gives u +20 stealth to take me to 100, and NOTHING!

wow, i dunno what to tell ya man, cept i bet you suck and hide and seek lol. hope your able to figure this out. try paging and see if you get any results. or stone everything to a diff char and see if you still have probs. good luck

U need 25 Real Skill + Items means u can stealth!

What is the name of the Robe with +10 Stealth, and the +20 Cloak

The robe must be the Cloak of Silence +10. What the heck is the +20 cloak/cape?
