Stealing insured Items!

Ok, i am a returning player from quite a while back.

If i remember correctly, killing a player in pvp, gives you the insurance money they lose.

Am i correct on that?

If so, im wondering if stealing an insured item will also yield 300 gold?

would be nice if it did, however you can't steal insured items.... my advice... Siege... no insurance there and the community on the whole is brilliant, if you do decide to start on siege i have some items i can give you and a lottle gold to help you on your way... a player has really helped me out lots so i would like to do the same for someone else!
