Starting up on SP

Hi there, i used to play UO back in 2002'ish and then life happened. I've spent the last few days reading up on all the new(new to me) skills and what not. Patching the client right now... takes a while eh?...
Anyhow I've used my time RP in other games. But no game(and I've played em all) can live up to the thrill of UO with the loot and omnipresent danger.

My problem is i can't sit 24/7 anymore. More like a a few hours a day tops.

I cant quite pick what i should play like. Back in the days i played a Bard and i liked it but with all new skills...i don't know.. Maybe a resource gatherer that grow more and more voluminous as the gold stack up.

So help?

I know it's a really confusing text. But i cant sit still knowing i will play UO soon again.

Most important thing, I think, is to play whatever it is you find fun. Not what someone else thinks would be fun, if you played it. When you have decided you should hit up the NEW2 guild. They are there to help new players get started. And the tag will protect you from most of the PK's and thieves for a month.

so much has changed that every template could be tweeked alittle depending on what you want to do. are you gonna be a solo player? you planning on joining a guild? what would your role be in said guild? blah blah blah. with the ROT system gaining skill is easy just ime consumig so if your time is limited for training just try and be as sure as possible about your emp cuz wanting to change it will involve more training time. hehe. anyway icq is still used. feel free to contact me. i am hit and miss as far as when i am on so this is the best way to get ahold of me. you and i can talk some stuff over! my icq = 43711018
