Starting over for kicks

Had 2 accounts and my t-hunter/fisher was on the account I can't seem to recover. So figured I'd buy a 7th char slot and just start over. I have 2 tamers on this account already so was thinking the bard template. Is that still feasable if I was to switch between fish/thunter? or should I just try and convert one of the tamers over? I used to solo level 6 maps with bard but had challenges with leviathan.

So was wondering, any suggestions on which to focus on? maps or fishing? and how hard are level 6-7 maps to get.. I know Miasma can be solo'd.. but can' the 7's be gotten solo?

Level 7 maps can only be found as reward for Level 6 maps. Taming is a good complement for a treasure hunter.

Ty, that helps a lot from looking at stuff I might just take my tamer an make her my hunter and give her some carto/lock.. can you still decode with carto and stone off for lock picking ? or do you need carto now to dig? (couldn't find that)

I think you can still swap the cartography for lockpicking, once you decode the map. Personally I don't, I am making a dedicated Treasure Hunter for my guild (just gotta get the last bit of lockpicking done).

Taming is a good complement for a treasure hunter.

It is, and it's an excellent general hunting template as well. But if you don't plan on stoning, it's a tight template - plan on investing heavily in jewelry if you want to 120 your taming skills.
