House addons are precisely what all my Miranda always had on her vendors, and everything on the menu nearly that a gm carpenter could make, she had on her vendors. For several yrs. it all netted her millions of gp, in earnings,
because we had so many folks here that seemed to buy thus need all those things.
So it kept me going here always busy restocking. Then my Hughes sold all kinds of alchemy and scribing stuffs.
Not sure what happened, but weeks on end went by then more weeks and nothing at all, was selling. And I mean NOTHING, not even any containers let alone addons nor furnitures, nor a gate scroll, nothing. For a brief while there we nearly had too many crafters and not enough non crafters, to buy stuff any longer. And folks also quit visiting shops that were not in guardzoney New Magincia like New Mag was THE only place left to bother to look for stuff to buy.
The other folks' shops then' one by one slowly shut down, mine included.
In the end my once extremely busy vendor house was given away to Doive out the n. zento wall, and when he left UO, he gave that home to a new homeless player here, ie Magnolia.
With nothing left to sell, thus nothing left for my chrs. to do, they all ended up logged out at an inn, tons of resources banked up with the myriads of me Siege parrots, no homes left on any of my 4 characters here.
Riz, had I been logged on when you were on, ya know I woulda made ya house addons, just watched tv last night, so didn't log on UO...anywhere.

I see ya over here..... and I was only teasing bout yu possibly kickin kelmo to the curb when ye became mod over ... there.
Resources may still sell, and if ya CAN make addons, should anyone need em,
make and sell some of those, here, maybe they will/are again [be needed] by some folks here ! I never overcharged for any of em either, basicially the cost of materials depending on wood type and few extra gp for making em in the first place, ie time = money too.
I sold all gm carpentry items once upon a time here, it helped make/ made me, millions of gp HERE. We were though lots busier a shard here, too then.
In fact my first ever 5k+++ of measly gp, ever earned here on Siege back in 2004 when I was new here, was merely sellin cloth !
