Dying in a game is not like dying RL.
Dying is a part of the game so try to get the best out of it. Maybe you will end up with a new friend, you never know.
If you see a red and you don't know for sure, that you can run fast enough to tit town, don't start run at all. It may work better to face him, say hi or ask him for something, maybe a vendor selling something or something else.
It may stop him from attacking or at least go easier on you. Also try to fight back if you can instead of running.
When you die, show your ghost, step away from your body.
Don't start OooOOo'ing, most killers do not understand OooOOo'ing.
Wait to see how your killer act. He may tjeck your loot, maybe loot something and then tell you to rez or maybe even rez you if he do have the skills.
When you are back to life, be nice, ask if you can loot what is left on your body.
Most will let you loot and not rez kill you but yes Siege do have a few kids who may rez kill you.
If that happen, don't show your ghost next time, don't rez before he is gone.
I have been on Siege sinse the day the shard was born. I find players much more rude on normal shards even when they can't kill you in Trammel.
One thing to remember, never carry anything you can't affort to lose, not even in town. If you know the risk and always remember dying and losing stuff is a part of Siege, then it won't hurt so much.
Also, be sure always to have a backup suit, weapon and other stuff in your bank you will need if you die. The time from you get looted to you are suited up again is not fun, special not if you have to do shopping and maybe begging before you are back on your feets.
Also remember, even when vendors won't buy your anything, players will, crafters need resources and have very little time to get needed resources and can't buy them from npc vendors.
Welcome to Siege
