Stairs in keep

I have been trying to place stairs on the front wall upper level in a keep to the roof area. I can get the stairs to the top but cant get over the edge. Has anyone done this and been successful?

My guess is that you arent high enough to get over the wall. And also you will need to place either a stone paver or a goza tile on the wall where you want to pass - does that makes sence?
Perhaps you could upload a screenshot of your keep, makes it easier to help you.

You can also place a stone block below and raise it up until it peeks through; sometimes I was able to drop the block on the little half wall and lower it down. I've also found that sometimes you need to raise the stairs a click or two to be able to get over the wall.

Im not great at screen shots. I know its alt, ctrl, print screen. then it goes to the paint (if I can find it where it went in 10) after that what?

I had Freja come over and help with the stairs. I was trying to go over a high part of the turret and not the low part of the turret. I had to move the whole stairway forward one (west) for it to fit. Ill have a friend who can post pictures to post one here.
