Spring Cleaning 2011... is it real? Or a fake-out?

Summer is quickly on it's way!!

Anyone see any proof "Spring Cleaning 2011" this is real?

I may have missed the original Spring Cleaning... but the very first big-time rare I bought was the Singing Ball from that collection. The Spring Cleaning we had a couple years ago was wonderful! One of the high points in events we were offered... and you didn’t have to suffer computer crashes and multiple murders to take part.

I was so happy when I herd this rumor we would have a new Spring Cleaning for 2011. But... "Where's the beef?!!" We are waiting and waiting and waiting. They talk about these Rustic and Gothic items... but they are not rewards, if you didn't know.

I could be wrong... I did some test shard work. I don't see it. Not enough content by far to be a upgrade package for sale... forget cutting it in half and trying to sell them that way. As is, I think "High Seas" was a waist of money... yet, fun enough to upgrade less then half my accounts for some NPC ship raid adventures. I don't see a penny being spent for these 2 packages. They really should have just made them spring cleaning rewards and concentrate on content as an investment for a paycheck.

Its not definitive proof in terms of a date or anything but Cal did post in a thread just a couple of days ago that spring cleaning was for sure on the way and that we should get more information in the next week.

I know your fustrated there is no Big news on the "Spring Cleaning". but look at it this way... You now have a bit of time to clean your boxes,bags,chests,bones, and anyother compartment you have stuffed full of goodies and sort them.... go by the old list of things and think what could be added this year to the turn in list.... then sort what you do want to keep out of that lot and make seprate storage for the items you would love to dump! Make your time usefull while you wait. (who knows what goodies you forgot you had will pop up!)

Yeah... it would be nice to get a list, if they are going to take so long getting the show on the road. Yes, my houses are packed with rubbish that I hope is on the list, otherwise will be having one heck of a sale. hehe. The bigger issue is that, as a small community leader on Atlantic, I get asked this question at least 1x every other day... when's it starting? I just hope we don't see a new crop of storage vendors set up lagging everyone out because of this greed for these small 2 add-ons vs fun for everyone in a new spring cleaning.

I believe that one of Cal's "more information in the next week" is directly proportionate to Cal's "we'll have definitive word about a classic server before the end of the year". That being said, we got the answer about the classic shard in what? February? So they appear to be running about 2 M O N T H S behind in everything. Our Spring Cleaning is going to wind up being Winter Cleaning. :-\
